George Gulack

George Gulack enjoyed early success as a competitor and later incorporated his knowledge of the sport as an upper-level administrator. His only Olympic gold came on the rings at the 1932 Los Angeles Games, which he added to two AAU National Championships in the same event.

Following his career, Gulack became chairman of the US Olympic Gymnastic Committee and the AAU. Gulack also served on the FIG, where he is credited for encouraging the United States to adopt the FIG Code of Points, a guideline for modern objective international scoring.
