An elite gymnast from an early age, Kathy Gleason did not only set her own career with her success as an athlete but also the careers of countless other gymnasts to follow in her footsteps as a coach. The NCAA all-around champion and Olympian returned to her native Buffalo, N.Y., to coach and operate Niagara Frontier Gymnastics, a private school for elite gymnasts. Gleason also founded the Gleason School of Gymnastics.
