Paul Fina

Class of 1973· Disciplines(s): Men's Artistic· Inducted as: Athlete

Based on his success as a young gymnast at the collegiate and AAU stages, it is reasonable to imagine the success Paul Fina could have enjoyed on the Olympic stage had he been given a chance to compete. World War II, however, robbed him of eight years, leaving the critics guessing. Speculation aside, Fina’s resume still holds strong, boasting five NCAA and five National AAU medals, along with three Big Ten medals. Fina also worked as a United States Gymnastics Federation organizer and international judge.
