Michelle Dusserre-Farrell

Class of 2006· Disciplines(s): Women's Artistic· Inducted as: Athlete

Michelle Dusserree’s ability to consistently perform at a high level is a probable reason why the US was able to take silver in the 1984 Los Angeles Games. However, an elbow injury the next year ultimately ended her career. She went on to work with the USOC and USA Gymnastics as a full-time paid employee and an assistant at camps for young children, respectively. Since leaving the USOC in 2006, Dusserree pursued a project called The Swing High Project, which is aimed to construct handicapped accessible playgrounds in Colorado Springs.
