Gygax, a junior from Stevensville, Md., is just the fourth William & Mary gymnast to win the all-around title at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate Championships and the first since Ramon Jackson earned the second of his two-consecutive all-around golds in 2006.
Gygax finished in the top 10 in five of the six events. His scores for each event were: 13.800, floor exercise; 14.00, pommel horse; 13.850, still rings; 14.750, vault; 13.600, parallel bars; and 14.150, horizontal bar.

The varsity competition is for Division I, II, or III, four-year institutions with gymnastics as a varsity sport, and the collegiate team category is for two-year or four-year degree-granting schools with gymnastics as a club sport. Each category produces its own winners for the team and individual competitions.
