INDIANAPOLIS, March 25, 2021 – Three-time U.S. all-around silver medalist Evita Griskenas of Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center and 2016 Olympian Laura Zeng of Libertyville, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center will represent Team USA this weekend at the Sofia (Bulgaria) World Cup. The competition, which marks the start of the 2021 international event season, will run March 26-28 at the Arena Armeets Sofia.

The all-around competition kicks off Friday with the hoop and ball apparatus starting at 3 a.m. ET, followed by clubs and ribbon on Saturday at beginning 3 a.m. ET. Griskenas and Zeng have both been assigned Group C and will compete in the 7:30 a.m. ET session on Friday and the 9:20 a.m. ET session on Saturday. The top eight athletes in each apparatus will qualify to the event finals scheduled for Sunday at 5:30 a.m. ET. A maximum of two athletes per country may advance.
