INDIANAPOLS, May 26, 2021 – Rhythmic Senior National Team members Evita Griskenas of Orland Park, Ill., and Laura Zeng of Libertyville, Ill., both of North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center return to action this weekend at the Pesaro World Cup, which will take place May 28-30 at Vitrifrigo Arena in Pesaro, Italy. They will be joined by the Senior National Group who are making their second international appearance of the 2021 season.

Zeng is looking to claim her third top-ten World Cup finish of 2021. She and Griskenas will compete in Group B with hoop and ball qualifications beginning Friday at 6 a.m. ET. Clubs and ribbon will kick off Saturday at 4 a.m. ET. Individual apparatus finals will be held Sunday at 8:10 a.m. ET.

The Senior National Group – comprised of Izzy Connor of Manhattan Beach, Calif., Camilla Feeley of Wheeling, Ill., Liza Merenzon of Buffalo Grove, Ill., Lili Mizuno of Northbrook, Ill., Elizaveta Pletneva of Wheeling, Ill., and Nicole Sladkov of Vernon Hills, Ill., all of North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center – is assigned to Group A. Five-ball qualifications are slated to begin Friday at 3 p.m. ET, while the three hoops and two pairs of clubs qualifications will begin Saturday at 4:05 ET. Group finals will take place Sunday.
