CORBEIL-ESSONNES, France, May 10, 2015 – Evita Griskenas of Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, won the all-around gold medal in the junior division at the International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament in Corbeil-Essonnes, France.
Griskenas posted a 61.582 to out score France’s Axelle Jovenin with 60.749 and Bulgaria’s Boryana Kaleyn at 59.282 for the all-around crown. Natalie Bourand of Burr Ridge, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, was eighth (54.666). Griskenas’ event scores were: rope, 15.333; hoop, 15.483; ball, 15.383; and clubs, 15.383. Bourand posted the following event marks: rope, 13.683; hoop, 13.833; ball, 13.450; and clubs, 13.700.
