CORBEIL-ESSONES, France, March 23, 2019 – Evita Griskenas of Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, won the senior all-around bronze medal at the Corbeil International Tournament, which concludes tomorrow with event finals at the Sports Palace in Corbeil-Essones, France. Griskenas and Camilla Feeley of Deerfield, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, will both compete in the senior event finals, and all three members of the U.S. Junior Team advanced to the junior event finals.

Griskenas tallied a 70.700 for the bronze medal, just missing the silver by 0.050. Belarus’ Alina Harnasko and Julia Evcek took home the gold (75.250) and silver (70.750) medals, respectively. Griskenas’ event scores were: hoop, 18.900; ball, 17.750; clubs, 18.150; and ribbon, 15.900. Feeley was 12th with a 59.650. Her event scores were: hoop, 16.450; ball, 12.500; clubs, 15.150; and ribbon, 15.550.

Griskenas will compete in all four event finals, and Feeley is in the ribbon final.

In the junior division, Victoria Kobelev of Palm Coast, Fla./Rhythmic Art, took 12th (56.150) in the all-around. Her event scores were: rope, 12.500; ball, 14.000; clubs, 15.550; and ribbon, 14.100. Alexandria Kautzman of Westlake Village, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics, and Naomi Skotnikov of Highland Park, Ill./Vitrychenko Academy Corp., both posted an all-around total of 52.700, with Kautzman claiming 14th. The four event scores for Kautzman were: rope, 13.500; ball, 11.850; clubs, 11.750; and ribbon, 15.600. Skotnikov’s event scores were: rope, 13.200; ball, 13.900; clubs, 13.700; and ribbon, 11.900

The juniors who advanced to tomorrow’s event finals are: rope, Kautzman and Skotnikov; clubs, Kobelev; and ribbon, Kautzman, and Kobelev is the second reserve athlete.

The two-day competition wraps up with the event finals at 1 p.m. Corbeil-Essones/8 a.m. ET. The top eight for each event, with a maximum of two per country, advanced to the finals.
