ESSEN, Germany (July 17, 2025) – Evita Griskenas (Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center) currently ranks in the top 20 after Day 1 of rhythmic competition at the 2025 World University Games in Germany.

Griskenas sits at 18th in the individual all-around in Essen with a combined 49.750. Independent athlete Alina Harnasko is currently first with a 57.400. Griskenas also will be second reserve in the ball final with her score of 25.800, which gave her a ranking of 10th in qualifying. Teammate Sarah Mariotti (San Diego, Calif./Pacific Stars Rhythmic Academy) ranks 31st in all-around competition with an overall score of 46.900.

Griskenas and Mariotti will be back in action Friday, July 18 for clubs and ribbon qualifying at 5 a.m. ET, after which, the all-around champion will be crowned. Complete results and competition information can be found on rhineruhr2025.com.
