BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 21, 2022 – After representing the U.S. at the Tokyo Olympic Games and the subsequent World Championships in 2021, Evita Griskenas (Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center) is set to make her 2022 international debut this weekend at the FIG World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan. She will be joined by fellow Olympian and World Championships teammate Lili Mizuno (Northbrook, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center), who has captured two top-10 all-around finishes on the international stage so far this year.

In all, more than 40 athletes from 29 countries will be in action April 22-24 at the Milli Gimnastika Arenasi. Griskenas and Mizuno will compete with Group B. They will take on hoop and ball Friday, beginning at 5:06 a.m. ET, with clubs and ribbon to follow Saturday at 4 a.m. ET. Competition is set to conclude Sunday with apparatus finals.
