HOLON, Israel, May 29, 2019 – Evita Griskenas of Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, took fifth in the all-around at the Holon (Israel) Grand Prix, held at the Holon Toto Hall. She had one sixth- and two seventh-place finishes in the event finals.

In the all-around, Griskenas posted a 78.000, just behind fourth-place Ekaterina Vedeneeva of Slovenia’s 78.650. Belarus’ Anastasiia Salos won the all-around at 80.300, followed by Russian teammates Anastasia Guzenkova and Irina Annenkova, who tied for second at 80.200. Griskenas’ event scores were: hoop 20.450, 6th; ball, 19.900, 10th; clubs, 18.600, 15th; and ribbon, 19.050, 2nd.

For ball, Griskenas was sixth (20.050). Belarus’ Anastasiia Salos claimed the gold (21.800), with Ekaterina Vedeneeva of Slovenia not far behind at 21.350. Russia’s Anastasia Guzenkova rounded out the top three at 20.850.

In the hoop final, Griskenas posted a 19.750 for seventh place. Russia’s Irina Annenkova won the title at 21.650. The Ukraine’s Vlada Nikolchenko was second (21.200) and Bulgaria’s Katrin Taseva took third (20.950).

Griskenas also placed seventh in the ribbon final (18.050. Guzenkova’s 19.950 handed her the title. Salos and Bulgaria’s Neviana Vladinova battled for second, 19.300 to 19.150. The medalists for clubs were: Taseva, 22.750, gold; Annenkova, 21.950, silver; and Salos, 21.100, bronze.

In the junior team competition, the USA was seventh (119.250). Jenna Zhao and Naomi Skotnikov were on the team. Zhao’s all-around score was 62.100 (rope/15.250; ball/16.600; clubs/116.050; and ribbon/114.200). Skotnikov tallied a 57.150 (rope/14.050; ball/15.250; clubs/15.050; and ribbon/12.800). Russia won the team event with a 150.050, followed by Israel at 134.650 and Belarus at 134.250.
