SOFIA, Bulgaria, March 30, 2018 – 2017 World finalist Evita Griskenas of Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, advanced to the hoop and ball finals today at the rhythmic gymnastics World Cup in Sofia, Bulgaria. Qualification competition continues tomorrow with clubs and ribbon, and the finals are scheduled for Sunday, April 1.
Fans in the United States can watch the finals live at OlympicChannel.com at 8 a.m. ET on Sunday. The Olympic Channel will air the competition on television at 2:30 p.m. ET on April 1.
Griskenas is currently ranked seventh in the all-around standings after earning scores of 16.750, hoop, and 16.050, ball. She qualified to both finals in eighth place. 2016 Olympic alternate Camilla Feeley of Highland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, is currently 18th in the all-around standings. She earned scores of 13.700, hoop, and 15.250, ball.
