ESSEN, Germany (July 18, 2025) – Evita Griskenas (Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center) finished in 10th place in the individual all-around Friday after two days of rhythmic competition at the 2025 World University Games in Essen, Germany.
Griskenas improved from 18th place after Day 1 to finish 10th in all-around competition with a combined 102.400. Independent athlete Alina Harnasko took the gold with a 114.850.
Griskenas also advanced to the individual event final for both clubs and ribbon. Her 26.600 on ribbon qualified her in fourth position, while her clubs routine scored a 26.050, placing her in 8th and securing her spot in the final.
Teammate Sarah Mariotti (San Diego, Calif./Pacific Stars Rhythmic Academy) maintained her Day 1 position to finish 31st all-around with a score of 94.150.
Griskenas will be back in action at 3:05 a.m. ET for the individual clubs final, and later, at 3:50 a.m. ET for the individual ribbon final. Complete results and competition information can be found on rhineruhr2025.com.
