Jeffrey Gluckstein and Savannah Vinsant

AALSMEER, Netherlands, March 19, 2011 – Jeffrey Gluckstein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J., and Savannah Vinsant of Lafayette, La, won the men’s and women’s trampoline titles at the 2011 Flower Cup in Aalsmeer, Netherlands.

Gluckstein, who trains at Head over Heels, posted a 56.280 to take top honors and earn his first senior level international title. The Netherlands’ Fernando Goetschinn was second at 56.035, with England’s Jack Helme third at 55.180. Gluckstein’s brother Steven just missed the medals with his fourth place finish at 53.380. Neil Gulati of Laguna Beach, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, placed sixth at 52.885, and Sean Kennedy of Middletown, N.J./Head over Heels, was seventh at 52.545. Logan Dooley of Lake Forest, Calif., and Michael Devine of Winnebago, Ill./J&J Tumbling and Trampoline, also competed in the event but did not advance to the final round.

Vinsant, who trains at Trampoline and Tumbling Express, won the title with her 53.440. England’s Emma Smith and Byrony Page were second and third, respectively. Dakota Earnest of Plains, Texas/Acrospirits, finished off the medal podium in fourth at 51.260. Alaina Williams of Norman, Okla./Acrospirits, was sixth at 49.990.

Scores from the preliminary rounds did not carry forward to the finals.
