Twenty Right To Play ambassadors, including 2012 Olympic all-around gold medalist Gabby Douglas, 10-time World medalist Alicia Sacramone and two-time Olympic medalist Jonathan Horton, are gearing up for #GivingTuesday. Their goal is to raise $100,000 in order to help 20,000 children around the world have the opportunity to join Right To Play’s programs by the start of the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.

The #GivingTuesday campaign honors the 20th anniversary of Right To Play founder Johann Olav Koss’ triple gold-medal performance at the 1994 Olympic Games in Lillehammer, Norway. Koss famously pledged to donate his Olympic winnings to the Olympic Aid Program. Koss’ donation marked the beginning of Right To Play, a global organization that uses sport and play programs to educate and empower children facing adversity.
