EVERETT, Wash., April 10, 2016 – Ron Galimore, the chief operating officer of USA Gymnastics, was elected president of the Pacific Alliance National Gymnastics Federation during meetings held in conjunction with the 2016 Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships presented by Hershey’s in Everett, Wash. The organization, which oversees the Pac Rim Championships, also elected its officers and Executive Committee for the coming Olympic quadrenium 2017-2020.

PANGF is responsible for the development and growth of men’s, women’s and rhythmic gymnastics, and trampoline in the member Pacific Rim nations; organizing the Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships; promoting a safe environment for member nation’s athletes; organize technical seminars and educational courses between member nations; and to foster and develop friendly relations within PANGF countries.
