ROTTERDAM, Netherlands, Oct. 21, 2010 — Jonathan Horton of Houston/Cypress Gymnastics, Danell Leyva of Miami/Universal Gymnastics, Rebecca Bross of Plano, Texas/WOGA, and Alexandra Raisman of Needham, Mass./Brestyan’s American Gymnastics, will represent the USA in the men’s and women’s all-around finals on Oct. 22 at the 2010 World Championships at the Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The men compete at 4 p.m. locally (10 a.m. ET) and the women take the floor at 7:30 p.m. locally (1:30 p.m. ET).


The top 24 individuals from qualifications compete in the all-around finals on Oct. 22 (men and women). For individual events, the top eight on each apparatus from the qualification rounds advance to the finals (Oct. 23-24). A maximum of two gymnasts per country advances to the all-around and individual event finals.


Horton and Leyva will have less than 24 hours to prepare for the all-around finals after competing in tonight’s team finals. In the men’s all-around prelims, Horton finished in fourth place, with Leyva 12th. For the women, Bross and Raisman were second and third. Scores from the preliminary round do not count in the finals.
