INDIANAPOLIS (January 9, 2023) – The 2023 Nastia Liukin Cup Series kicked off over the weekend with two gymnasts – one junior and one senior – securing their spots for the late-February competition based on performances at the Atlanta Crown Invitational in Duluth, Ga.

Jamison Sears (Yorktown, Va./World Class Gymnastics), who finished atop the senior division at last year’s Nastia Liukin Cup, and junior Olivia Vandevander (Durham, N.C./Team Attraction Gymnastics) are the first of 20 junior and 20 senior gymnasts who will compete at Louisville’s Freedom Hall February 24. Additional participants will be determined through the remaining 19 invitationals set to take place across the country over the next six weeks. The series will continue next weekend with the Hill’s Maryland Classic in Landover, Md., and is slated to conclude February 20.

This year marks the 14th edition of the annual Nastia Liukin Cup, which was founded in 2010 by 14-time Olympic and World medalist Nastia Liukin. Additional information, including the full list of qualifying invitationals, is available at NastiaLiukinCup.com.
