ANTWERP, Belgium, April 13, 2018 – The women’s pair of Emily Davis and Aubrey Rosilier, both of San Antonio, Texas/Acrobatic Gymnastics of San Antonio, lead the way for Team USA after day one of the 2018 World Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships. The duo is currently ranked fifth. Competition, which is being held in Antwerp, Belgium’s Lotto Arena, continues Saturday and Sunday.

USA Gymnastics will provide a live webcast (U.S. viewers only) of the qualifying rounds via YouTube. Fans in the U.S. can watch the finals live online at OlympicChannel.com. The Olympic Channel will broadcast finals on April 14 and 15 at 8 p.m. ET.

Elanor Chang, Calista Davis and Madison Freed, all of Columbia, Md./Emilia’s Acro Gymnastics and Cheer, started things off for Team USA. Their dynamic exercise earned a 25.790, which ranked them in 13th place in the women’s group standings. The trio withdrew from the competition before their balance routine.

The women’s pair of Emily Davis and Aubrey Rosilier, both of San Antonio, Texas/Acrobatic Gymnastics of San Antonio, who are the reigning U.S. champions, posted a 27.180 for their balance routine. After the first day of competition, they are ranked fifth.

Aisley Boynton and Sean Obley, both of Riverside, Calif./ Realis Gymnastics Academy, scored a 25.200 during the mixed pair dynamic qualifications. They rank 15th after day one.
