USA Gymnastics hosted the FIG Acrobatic Technical Committee for their third meeting of the year. The members of the TC present for the meetings:

The meetings took place in Las Vegas from August 30 – September 3, 2015. During the meetings, the work was focused on finalizing the Code of Points, Tables of Difficulty and Age Group Rules for the next cycle, 2017 – 2020. Special consideration was given to the artistry rules as well as changing the weighting of the various criteria for exercises evaluation.
Although the work was intense, the TC members enjoyed several Cirque Shows with tickets provided by Cirque du Soleil.
Ron Galimore, USA Gymnastics Chief Operating Officer and Elizabeth Millard, USA Acrobatic Program Director hosted a dinner for the TC on behalf of USA Gymnastics. President Rosy Taeymans had the opportunity to express appreciation to Mr. Galimore for the hospitality provided by USA Gymnastics. She asked that the appreciation of the entire TC be expressed to USA Gymnastics and President Steve Penny.
