SOFIA, Bulgaria, March 29, 2018 – 2017 World finalist Evita Griskenas of Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, and 2016 Olympic alternate Camilla Feeley of Highland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, will compete in this weekend’s rhythmic gymnastics World Cup in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Fans in the United States can watch the finals live at OlympicChannel.com at 8 a.m. ET on Sunday, April 1. The Olympic Channel will air the competition on television at 2:30 p.m. ET on April 1.
Earlier this week at the Sofia International Tournament, held in conjunction with the World Cup, Lili Mizuno of Northbrook, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, won the bronze medal for ribbon. In addition, she finished fifth in the all-around and fourth with hoop and clubs. Karrine Denisova of Wilmette, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, was 13th in the senior all-around standings.
In the junior competition, Shannon Xiao of Fairfax, Va./Gymnastics World, finished eighth in the ball final.
