LAKE PLACID, N.Y., May 21, 2017 – 2016 Olympic alternate Camilla Feeley of Highland Park, Ill., and Karrine Denisova of Wilmette, Ill., both of whom train at North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, won the senior and junior all-around titles, respectively, this weekend at the 2017 Rhythmic National Qualifier. The event was held at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, N.Y. The top 25 junior and 20 senior all-around finishers advanced to the USA Gymnastics Championships scheduled for June 27-July 2 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center and Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, Wis.

Feeley claimed the senior title, posting a 67.350 in the all-around, followed by Serena Lu of Staten Island, N.Y./Isadora, 63.250, and Lili Mizuno of Brentwood, Calif./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, who finished third (62.950). In addition to the all-around crown, Feeley won the hoop, 17.300, and ball, 18.400, titles. Feeley’s remaining event scores were 16.200 for clubs and a 15.450 for ribbon. Mizuno posted the top marks with the clubs (17.600) and the ribbon (17.500).

Denisova’s 60.150 topped the junior all-around standings. Her individual scores were: 15.300, hoop; 15.200, ball; 15.650, clubs (top score); and 14.000, ribbon. Elizabeth Kapitonova of Staten Island, N.Y, was second, earning 58.000 in the all-around. Gergana Petkova of North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, rounded out the top three and scored 57.200.
