2025 Level 7/8 Squad Camp

Information

The purpose of developmental training camps is to provide elite training opportunities and professional development for coaches to build a strong, healthy foundation for athletes’ long-term development. Note that all qualifications below are subject to the athlete holding USA citizenship at the time of qualification.

Qualification to Squad Development Camps is based on: 1. the target ages of the development pipeline and 2. competition results from the National Championship events for Levels 7-10 (Rhythmic Development Championships and USA Gymnastics Championships).


Location

Olympic Training Center: Lake Placid, NY

Gymnasts must be 12 years old at the time of camp to stay in the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center


Schedule

October 2nd: Arrivals
October 3rd-5th: Training
October 6th: Departures


Registration

Register through the “Meet Reservation System” on the USA Gym website


Entry Fee

$625 per person – athletes (12 and older) and coaches pay (covers meals, accommodations, and training). A personal coach must attend with their athlete.
$425 per person – if staying offsite


Transportation

The OTC will do their best to accommodate flights that meet the guidelines below. In the case that they cannot accommodate, the transportation fee will be refunded.

Note: USA Gymnastics is not responsible for delayed flights that cause participants to arrive after shuttle departure times (minor delays will be accommodated; delays more than 30 minutes will not). Full responsibility for the participants’ transportation to/from camp falls on the parents/club in the case they miss transportation.

Refunds

50% refunds will be provided only in the case of illness/injury verified by a doctor’s note.


Membership Requirements

Athletes: current membership for 2025-2026 season
Coaches: current membership for 2025-2026 season with all requirements


Proof of Citizenship

All athletes attending camp for the first time must provide proof of citizenship with their registration upon request.


Waiver Forms

The Athlete Participation Agreement must be filled out and returned to [email protected] by September 20th for each participating athlete.

Athletes and coaches must submit the National Team Training Center waiver form. This form will be emailed out directly from the OTC prior to the event. It will come from an “assuresign” email address.

***If you have already submitted a waiver this year, you will not need to do this again.


Travel

Airport: Albany

For participants requesting transportation, travel itineraries are due by September 12th via this form: Transportation Link

Arrival/Departure
Flights must meet the below criteria to be eligible for OTC transportation:
October 2nd (by 5:00 pm)
October 6th (12:00 pm or later)

***Please note: participants arriving much earlier than 4:00pm or departing much later than 12:00pm may need to wait at the Albany airport for several hours.

Accommodations

12 and over: will stay at the training center.
Under 12: Will stay offsite and will be responsible for housing.
