The School of Business is designed to help club owners and program administrators develop strong leadership skills, problem-solving techniques, and positive program development capabilities. Three certificate programs are available, each addressing various business topics.

Coursework for the Business program is offered in part through 3rd Level Consulting.

Office Manager

The Office Manager Certification offers a great foundation for training all front office staff and furthering the education of experienced office administrators. This certification does not require any previous business experience.

Director

The Director Certification provides individuals with the skills necessary to for success in program management. It is excellent for aspiring program directors and furthering the education of experienced program directors.

Course Requirements:

Executive

The Executive Certification provides individuals with the skills necessary to thrive in a competitive business environment, whether they be current owners of any experience level, general managers or facility managers, or those who aspire to ownership. It is recommended that an Executive Track candidate complete the Director Track first.

General Requirements For University Admission

The certificate program can be achieved by completing designated “core” course work and school specific courses. Courses and other requirements vary depending on the school of study and the specific certificate program.

Regardless of what area of study one chooses, everyone within the university must:

  • Successfully complete U100: Fundamentals Of Gymnastics Instruction Course (online)
  • Be a current USA Gymnastics Member (Recreational Coach, Competitive Coach, Judge, Owner/Managing Director, Meet Director).
  • Be responsible for knowing the course requirements for the certificate program they are pursuing. (While course requirements can and will change for different certificate programs, those who have already received their certificate will maintain as active/current.)

  • Admission to multiple schools within the university is permitted.
  • Course requirements are subject to change at any time.
  • Designated purchased technical material, and free downloads are eligible for credit. Proper paperwork for credit must be submitted to USA Gymnastics.
