VALLADOLID, Spain, Sept. 13, 2013- 2012 Olympic alternate Logan Dooley of Lake Forest, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, and 2012 Olympian Steven Gluckstein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J./ETA, qualified to the finals at the City of Valladolid (Spain) Trampoline World Cup today.

Dooley posted a combined score of 102.820, while Gluckstein earned 102.665. The duo finished ninth and 10th, respectively, to advance to tomorrow’s finals due to the two per country rule.

In addition to Dooley and Gluckstein, Jeffrey Gluckstein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy, and Hunter Brewster of Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express, also competed and completed the USA’s four-for-four performance.

Tomorrow’s competition schedule in Valladolid is: synchronized trampoline prelims at 1 p.m. and World Cup finals at 7:30 p.m. followed by the closing ceremony. The event does have competition in double mini-trampoline but the USA is not competing in that event.
