SOFIA, Bulgaria (June 22, 2025) – Natalie de la Rosa (Woodland Hills, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics) won hoop bronze Sunday to conclude action at the 2025 Rhythmic Junior World Championships in Bulgaria.

De la Rosa upped the U.S. medal count to two, claiming a hoop bronze medal with a 26.450 to add to the American team’s silver medal. She took the podium behind Magdalena Valkova of Bulgaria in first (27.350) and Akmaral Yerekesheva of Kazakhstan in second (26.950). De la Rosa also placed sixth in the clubs final with a 24.400.

Also competing in final competition was Alicia Liu (San Diego, Calif./Pacific Stars Rhythmic Academy), who landed just off the ribbon podium in fourth after scoring a 24.400 to tie with Qi Wang of China. Yerekesheva was first on ribbon with a 26.400.

The Junior National Group of Alana Hirota (West Hills, Calif.), Nina Keys (Porter Ranch, Calif.), Ziah Khan (Irvine, Calif.), Leyla Kukhmazova (Porter Ranch, Calif.), Sasha Kuliyev (Granada hills, Calif.) and Katherine Roytman (Chatsworth, Calif.) competed in both group apparatus final Sunday. The group placed sixth (22.900) in the 10 clubs final and eighth in five hoops (22.750).
