INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., June 1, 2010 – USA Gymnastics Men’s Program Committee has selected 2009 World team member Jake Dalton of Sparks, Nev., to compete at the XXXV Memorial Blume – Barcelona (Spain) on June 5.
He replaces the University of Illinois’ Tyler Mizoguchi of Houston, who withdrew due to an injury. The University of Oklahoma’s Dalton will travel to Barcelona with Oklahoma head coach Mark Williams.
The Memorial Blume – Barcelona is the oldest and most prestigious competition in Spanish gymnastics. This year’s event is a FIG Concours II all-around competition.
