BARCELONA, Spain, June 5, 2010 –Jake Dalton of Sparks, Nev., finished seventh in the all-around finals at the XXXV Memorial Blume – Barcelona (Spain).
Dalton, who trains with the University of Oklahoma, earned a total score of 82.500. Great Britain’s Samuel Hunter won the all-around at 85.450, followed by France’s Arnaud Willig in second and the Ukraine’s Mykola Kuksenkov in third.
Dalton posted the second highest score on floor exercise (14.650) and vault (15.950), and the third top score on parallel bars (14.050).
The Memorial Blume – Barcelona is the oldest and most prestigious competition in Spanish gymnastics. The countries that competed in the men’s all-around were France, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the Ukraine and the USA.
