MANILA, Philippines (November 23, 2025) – Dante Reive (West Point, N.Y./West Point Gymnastics) won the first-ever gold for the U.S. men and Lavi Crain (Blue Springs, Mo./Great American Gymnastics Express) added the first gold for the women since 2019 Sunday at the 2025 Junior Artistic World Championships. Caroline Moreau (Keller, Texas/Texas Dreams Gymnastics) added a bronze on the first day of apparatus finals in Manila.

Reive became the first American man to win a title at a Junior World Championships with gold on still rings, posting a 13.866 to stand atop the podium. Simone Speranza of Italy took silver with a 13.666 and Chengcheng Wang of China bronze with a 13.466.

Crain became the first U.S. woman since Kayla DiCello in 2019 to clinch the women’s vault title Sunday with a 13.683 (14.066, 13.300). Crain finished .05 ahead of Japan’s Misa Nishiyama in second (13.633; 13.833, 13.433), with Romania’s Alexia Blanaru third (13.566; 13.133, 14.000). She also placed eighth on uneven bars with an 11.366.

Moreau rounded out the American medals with a bronze of her own, placing third in the bars final with a 13.333. She finished behind Independent athlete Milana Kaiumova in first (13.933) and Slovakia’s Lucia Poliarova in second (13.800).

Also competing in finals for the country were Danila Leykin (Sarasota, Fla./EVO Gymnastic) and Nathan Roman (Poway, Calif./University of Oklahoma), who were sixth (13.466) and seventh (12.733) in the men’s floor exercise final, respectively.

The championships in Manila conclude Monday with the final day of apparatus action beginning at 1 a.m. ET. Moreau and Charleigh Bullock (Spotsylvania, Va./Capital Gymnastics National Training Center) will compete in the women’s balance beam and floor finals, while Leykin takes on the parallel bars and horizontal bar finals for the men.
