COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., May 19, 2017 – Competition begins today at trampoline and tumbling’s 2017 Elite Challenge at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. The three-day event (May 19 -21) features competition in trampoline, tumbling, double mini-trampoline and synchronized trampoline for men’s and women’s senior, junior, youth elite, open elite and Level 10. Participants in the senior tumbling, double mini-trampoline and synchronized trampoline competition are eligible to earn World Games selection points based on performance at the Elite Challenge.

The competition schedule follows (times are MT).



Friday, May 19

  • 9 a.m.-12:45 p.m. – Prelims for trampoline (youth elite, junior, open and Level 10) and double mini-trampoline (junior, open, youth elite, and senior)
  • 1:45 – 9:30 p.m. – Prelims for trampoline (senior and Level 10), tumbling (senior, open, junior, youth elite and Level 10), double mini-trampoline (Level 10) and synchronized trampoline (junior)

Saturday, May 20

  • 9 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. – Prelims for trampoline (junior and youth elite), tumbling (youth elite and open) and double mini-trampoline (open, youth elite and Level 10)
  • 1:45 p.m. – 3:45 pm. – Prelims for trampoline (open, youth elite and Level 10), double mini-trampoline (Level 10) and synchronized trampoline (senior)
  • 4:45 – 6:25 p.m. – Finals for trampoline (senior, open, youth elite and junior), tumbling (junior, youth elite, open and senior) and double mini-trampoline (senior, junior, youth elite and open)
  • 7:30 – 9:10 p.m. – Finals for trampoline (junior, open and youth elite), tumbling (youth elite and open), double mini-trampoline (open, youth elite, junior and Level 10) and synchronized trampoline (youth elite and open)

Sunday, May 21

  • 9 a.m. – 1:20 p.m. – Finals for trampoline (youth elite and Level 10), tumbling (Level 10), double mini-trampoline (Level 10) and synchronized trampoline (youth elite, junior and Level 10)
