UW-Oshkosh Secures Women’s Gymnastics Championship – March 5, 2022
WHITEWATER, Wis.–University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh secured the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women’s Gymnastics Championship/National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) West Regional (presented by Culver’s) at UW-Whitewater’s Kachel Fieldhouse on March 5.

NORMAN, Okla. – The Oklahoma women’s gymnastics team shattered its program record on the uneven bars and Jordan Bowers earned her first career perfect score as the No. 2 Sooners topped No. 1 Michigan, 198.475-197.900.

DENTON, Texas – Domi Bonzagni set a new career high on floor, while Isabel Goyco, Mara Johnson, and Beth Lazarus all equaled career-high marks as the Texas Woman’s University gymnastics team posted its highest score of the season, scoring 195.725 in a second-place finish in Sunday’s quad inside Kitty Magee Arena.

#3 Florida 198.575, #6 Auburn 198.575 – March 4, 2022
AUBURN, Ala. – With a share of the SEC championship on the line, No. 6 Auburn soared to a program record, equaling the nation’s highest score this season with a 198.575 behind 10.0s from Sunisa Lee and Derrian Gobourne Friday in the first meet at newly christened Neville Arena.

SALT LAKE CITY – Senior night at the Jon M. Huntsman Center was one to remember as the fourth-ranked Utah gymnasts posted the program’s second-best score in history, downing the ninth-ranked Minnesota Gophers 198.575-197.850.

#10 Kentucky 197.500, #5 LSU – March 4, 2022
BATON ROUGE – The fifth-ranked LSU Gymnastics team scored a 197.450 in front of 12,838 fans in a loss to 10th-ranked Kentucky Friday night inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

#7 Alabama 198.000, #6 Auburn 197.750, Arkansas 196.800, Georgia 196.200 – March 6, 2022
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The No. 7-ranked Alabama gymnastics team rocked its second-consecutive 198 score to remain undefeated in Elevate the Stage meets, scoring a 198.000 to beat Auburn (197.750), Arkansas (196.800) and Georgia (196.200) Sunday afternoon at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Ala.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The seventh-ranked Alabama gymnastics team took down Arkansas, 198.075-196.000, Friday night in front of 9,101 fans in Coleman Coliseum.

LOS ANGELES – No. 17 UCLA surpassed the 198 mark for the first time since 2020 and posted its highest team score since 2019 in a 198.050-197.200 dual meet victory over No. 8 California.

ATHENS, Ga. — Despite season-best scores on bars and floor, the University of Georgia gymnastics team fell to the Missouri Tigers, 197.225-196.600 at home in Stegeman Coliseum.

EAST LANSING, Mich. – On a memorable Senior Night, school records fell as No. 12 Michigan State gymnastics set a new school record with a 197.575 en route to decisive win over Western Michigan at a rowdy Jenison Field House on Saturday night.

PROVO, Utah – Coming out on top on senior night, No. 14 BYU beat both University of Washington and Illinois State at the Marriot Center on Friday night.

STANFORD, Calif. – Led by career-best-or-matching scores from seven gymnasts, the Cardinal made its final meet in Maples this season memorable with a season-best score of 196.975, falling just shy of topping No.15 Arizona State’s 197.375 effort on Friday night.

SEATTLE, Wash. – The Washington gymnastics team scored a 196.825 in their tri-meet with Utah State and Stanford. Stanford posted a 196.375 to come in second and Utah State finished with a 196.225 to come in third.

#18 Ohio State 196.575, Kent State 196.375, Bowling Green 195.700 – March 4, 2022
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Riding another strong performance on the floor exercise, the No. 18 Ohio State women’s gymnastics team earned a team score of 196.575 to defeat both Kent State and Bowling Green on Friday night in the Covelli Center.

#18 Ohio State 197.525, Kent State 196.550, Eastern Michigan 194.575 – March 6, 2022
KENT, Ohio – On Sunday, the Kent State gymnastics team celebrated Senior Day during its last home meet of the season, hosting Eastern Michigan and Ohio State. And for the second meet in a row, the Golden Flashes posted a new season-high overall score, registering a 196.550.

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State gymnastics team (8-5, 1-1 Big 12) fell to the No. 19 Iowa Hawkeyes 196.500-196.825 Friday night inside Hilton Coliseum.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Sophomore Matt Cormier put together a solid individual performance, but No. 7 Penn State dropped its Big Ten men’s gymnastics meet to No. 5 Ohio State 397.200-393.900 on Saturday at Rec Hall.

AZUSA, Calif. – In a showdown of three of the top six NCATA programs, Azusa Pacific’s acrobatics and tumbling program put together a hard-fought victory, defeating both Gannon and Hawai’i Pacific inside the Felix Event Center Tuesday evening.

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon improved in several areas in its second meet of the 2022 season, but the third-ranked Ducks were not able to consistently post the high scores needed to overcome No. 6 Gannon in a 275.690-271.270 defeat.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Converse Valkyries acrobatics and tumbling team defeated Presbyterian 261.310-249.975 on Saturday afternoon in the Weisiger Center.

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The unbeaten and No. 11-ranked West Liberty University acrobatics and tumbling team turned in its most impressive performance of the season here Thursday night, sweeping all six events in a 260.360-221.975 victory against Glenville State inside the ASRC.
