TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama gymnastics team posted a 196.175 in its second quad meet of the season in front of 10,361 fans in Coleman Coliseum Friday night, finishing a tenth of a point behind Denver and a tenth and a half ahead of Michigan.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – In their second quad meet of the season, the Illinois women’s gymnastics team posted a 195.175 in front of the home crowd in Huff Hall on Sunday afternoon.

#8 Nebraska 195.550, Washington 195.250 – Jan. 12, 2019
LINCOLN, Neb. — The No. 8 Nebraska women’s gymnastics (1-1, 0-0 Big Ten) team defeated Washington (0-1, 0-0 PAC-12) 195.550 – 195.250 at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Saturday night in front of a record setting crowd of 4,699 to capture Heather Brink’s first win as a head coach and of the season.

TUCSON, Ariz. – The No. 18 Arizona GymCats hosted their first of five home meets of the season on Saturday against No. 10 Arkansas. The GymCats ended with a final score of 194.725, which wasn’t enough to beat No. 10 Arkansas who finished with a final score of 195.800.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gator gymnastics opened season and Southeastern Conference action with a 197.30-196.450 win over Missouri Friday evening in front of an enthusiastic Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center crowd.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Gianna Plaksa won the parallel bars, shared first place with teammate Nora Fettinger on the floor exercise, and won the all-around on Friday as the Central Michigan gymnastics team posted a solid 195.275 team score in rolling past Illinois State in a nonconference gymnastics dual at McGuirk Arena.

BOSTON, Mass. – The No. 20 Penn State Women’s Gymnastics Team won three events on the night as it defeated No. 32 Temple and Towson at the Little Boston Invitational on Saturday at the John B. Hynes Convention Center.
