SALT LAKE CITY — The No. 2 Ute gymnasts started and finished strong—while producing enough big scores in the middle—to earn their highest score of the season in a 197.450-196.300 win over No. 25 Oregon State.

TUCSON, Ariz. – No. 17 Arizona gymnastics put up a fight against No. 4 UCLA in their first Pac-12 match-up of the 2018 season. The Cats lost to the Bruins with a final score of 197.300-195.750, but they left McKale Center with their heads held high after earning a season-high team score.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The No. 5 Kentucky (4-1, 1-1 SEC) gymnastics team fell to No. 5 Florida, 196.325 – 195.950, inside Memorial Coliseum on Friday night.

#8 Boise State 195.850, #7 Denver 195.050, UIC 192.375, Seattle Pacific 186.875 – Jan. 18, 2018
BOISE, Idaho — The No. 8 Broncos came up with a score of 195.850 to win a quad meet on Friday evening, defeating No. 7 Denver, Illinois-Chicago and Seattle Pacific at Taco Bell Arena.

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The No. 24 Mizzou gymnastics team knocked off No. 10 Arkansas with a 196.325-196.150 victory in the Tigers’ home opener Friday night at the Hearnes Center.

#11 Arizona State 196.250, #20 Stanford 195.650 – Jan. 20, 2018
STANFORD, Calif. – Senior Elizabeth Price recorded career bests on the balance beam and in all-around, but it wasn’t enough to help No. 20 Stanford upset No. 11 Arizona State on Saturday in its Pac-12 Conference opener in Burnham Pavilion.

LINCOLN, Neb.– In front of a century-high 4,443 fans, No. 12 Nebraska women’s gymnastics rushed past Rutgers with a season-high 196.300, to the Scarlet Knights’ 192.975 on Saturday at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

SEATTLE – The #13 Washington GymDawgs came away with the win in their first home competition of the season, besting #23 California 196.325-194.850 in their highest-scoring competition of the early season.

#14 Central Michigan 195.600, Western Michigan 195.425 – Jan. 20, 2018
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Chippewas posted a 195.600 to take a Mid-American Conference win over rival Western Michigan on Saturday at McGuirk Arena. The Broncos scored a 195.425. CMU is 2-0 in MAC duals.

NORMAN, Okla. — The No. 1 Oklahoma women’s gymnastics team soared to a 197.525 victory Sunday over Iowa State (194.975) and Texas Woman’s (191.425).

ATHENS, Ga.— The Georgia GymDogs earned their first win of the season, and first under head coach Courtney Kupets Carter, defeating the No. 16 Auburn Tigers, 196.725- 196.375, in front of 10,284 fans at Stegeman Coliseum on Friday night.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The No. 18-ranked West Virginia University gymnastics team hit 24-for-24 routines and earned a second place, 195.4 finish at the Wendy M. Roach Pink Meet Invitational this afternoon at the WVU Coliseum.

#2 Penn State 407.600, #12 Army 384.100 – Jan. 20, 2018
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Behind five event victors and an all-around winner, the Penn State men’s gymnastics team secured its first home victory of the 2018 season with a 407.600-384.100 win over Army West Point Saturday, Jan. 20 at Rec Hall.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The No. 4 ranked Fighting Illini men’s gymnastics team defeated No. 9 Arizona State, 407.700-387.700, Saturday night at Huff Hall.

#5 Stanford 405.750, #8 Iowa 396.100, #16 UIC 366.300 – Jan. 21, 2018
CHICAGO – The UIC men’s gymnastics team welcomed two top-10 teams to UIC Pavilion Sunday afternoon, and came away with a team score improvement of over 11 points from the season-opening Windy City Invitational.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Navy gymnastics team once again found early season success as the Mids improved on last week’s 395.05-point output with 398.20 points on Saturday at the 2018 Navy Open hosted in Macdonough Hall.
