ATHENS, Ga. – Ninth-ranked Georgia turned in a season-high score en route to defeating second-ranked LSU 197.175 – 196.875 in its home opener on Friday evening at Stegeman Coliseum.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 6 Nebraska women’s gymnastics team posted a solid team score of 196.250 to defeat No. 3 Alabama, and No. 17 Kentucky on Saturday to win the Ozone Collegiate Classic.

AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn improved, led the defending NCAA champions after the first rotation and had a score that should bump up the Tigers in the national rankings. But Auburn coach Jeff Graba said his takeaway from Florida’s 197.075 to 196.225 victory was improvement for his Tigers mixed with potential for a better days.

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State gymnastics team tied the seventh-highest team score in school history on the balance beam, as the squad recorded a total score of 195.650 in its home opener Friday evening inside Reynolds Coliseum.

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The No. 2 Penn State men’s gymnastics team stretched its West Point Open winning streak to 15 straight after recording a 428.100 team score on Friday evening at host Army’s Gross Center in West Point, N.Y.

STANFORD, Calif. – No. 3 Stanford extended its winning streak over No. 4 California to nine Saturday evening, earning a convincing 435.200-426.350 victory in the Cardinal’s home opener.

Michigan wins Windy City Invitational – Jan. 18, 2014
CHICAGO, Ill. — The top-ranked University of Michigan men’s gymnastics team made a final-rotation comeback and scored a 74.95 on rings to capture the 44th Windy City Invite title Saturday (Jan. 18) at the UIC Physical Education Building with a team score of 437.500
