GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Big marks added up to a big team total, as the No. 8 Florida gymnastics team (6-0, 2-0 SEC) used the nation’s top score of 2012 to claim its first home win over a top-ranked team in 23 years Friday in front of a Stephen C. O’Connell Center crowd of 6,198.

SEATTLE – The No. 22-ranked UW gymnastics team pulled a huge upset in its first home meet of 2012, knocking off undefeated and No. 1 UCLA 195.350-194.600.

#3 Utah 197.550, BYU 194.450 – Jan. 27, 2012
SALT LAKE CITY — An overflow Huntsman Center crowd of 15,310 witnessed another spectacular performance by the No. 3-ranked Ute gymnasts, who schooled rival Brigham Young 197.550-194.450 to improve to 88-2 all-time against the Cougars and 2-1 on the season.

LINCOLN — The No. 4 Nebraska women’s gymnastics team dropped its first meet of the season on Friday night, falling to the No. 20 Missouri Tigers, 195.725-194.55, in front of 1,044 fans at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

#5 Oklahoma 196.475, #20T NC State 194.075 – Jan. 27, 2012
NORMAN, Okla. – The fifth-ranked Oklahoma women’s gymnastics squad defeated No. 20 N.C. State, 196.475-194.075, Friday in OU’s fifth-annual Beauty and the Beast competition alongside OU wrestling at the Lloyd Noble Center.

#6 Alabama 196.325, #16 Auburn 196.250 – Jan. 27, 2012
AUBURN – For the second-consecutive week, Auburn gymnastics posted a season-high total score in front of a record crowd in the Auburn Arena. Despite falling to Alabama, 196.325-196.250, the Tigers bested their previous season high.

#7 Georgia 197.250, #17 LSU 195.750 – Jan. 28, 2012
ATHENS, Ga. — The No. 7 Georgia Gym Dogs (3-1, 2-1) set season highs on every apparatus en route to a season-high score of 197.250 and a win over No. 17 LSU Tigers (1-6, 1-2), in front of a sold out crowd of 10,224 at Stegeman Coliseum on Saturday.

#9 Penn State 195.475, Minnesota 195.150 – Jan. 28, 2012
MINNEAPOLIS — The University of Minnesota women’s gymnastics team tallied a season-high score of 195.150 Saturday night in front of a Sports Pavilion crowd of 1,470, but No. 9 Penn State stole the dual meet victory by trumping the Golden Gophers with a 195.475.

CORVALLIS, Ore. — The 10th-ranked Oregon State gymnastics team knocked off No. 12 Stanford 196.800-194.525 Friday Night at Gill Coliseum.

#11 Ohio State 195.625, Pittsburgh 193.500 – Jan. 27, 2012
PITTSBURGH – The Pitt gymnastics squad put in its second consecutive week of solid scores as they recorded a 193.500 against the No. 11-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes during the Think Pink: Target the Cure meet.

LOGAN, Utah – To kick off a four-meet homestand Friday, the Utah State gymnastics team finished in second place in a tri-meet between Southern Utah and No. 13 Boise State with a final score of 194.050.

#19 Michigan 194.225, #14 Illinois 193.700 – Jan. 27, 2012
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The No. 19-ranked University of Michigan women’s gymnastics team capped a perfect January (3-0) on Friday night (Jan. 27), rallying on floor to defeat No. 14 Illinois, 194.225-193.700, inside Crisler Center.

Arizona State 195.875, #15 Arizona 194.350 – Jan. 27, 2012
TEMPE, Ariz.–The Arizona State women’s gymnastics team (3-0, 2-0 Pac-12) not only beat the 15th-ranked Arizona Wildcats in the first of two State Farm Territorial Cup match-ups, they also were on fire with breaking not only season highs, but also career records.

#18 Denver 195.400, Air Force 190.925, Centenary 187.250 – Jan. 28, 2012
DENVER-The University of Denver women’s gymnastics squad posted a season-high 195.400 en route to its first two wins of the 2012 season, topping Air Force and Centenary College on Saturday night at Hamilton Gymnasium.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The second-ranked Fighting Illini men’s gymnastics team took down No. 1 Oklahoma (347.700) and No. 7 Michigan (339.100) Saturday night at Huff Hall with an overall team score of 349.800.

#6 Stanford 348.400, #5 California 339.000, #9 Nebraska 332.600, Washington 251.200 – Jan. 28, 2012
STANFORD, Calif. – No. 6 Stanford won the team competition at the Stanford Open Saturday night, defeating No. 5 California, No. 9 Nebraska and Washington before a sellout crowd at Burnham Pavilion.

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – The 10th-ranked Air Force men’s gymnastics team posted a season-high 337.700 during a dual meet with No. 8 Minnesota (345.400) on Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Academy’s West Gym.

CHICAGO -The UIC men’s gymnastics team (1-6) defeated Iowa in the in the floor exercise, 55.700-54.600 and parallel bars, 55.100-53.700, but fell to the Hawkeyes, 332.100-325.200 Saturday inside the Physical Education Building in Chicago, Ill.
