GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Gators (6-0, 3-0 Southeastern Conference) improved on their nation-best score from last week (197.5) while handing No. 6-ranked Alabama its first loss of the season, 197.55-195.45.
#2 Stanford 196.975, San Jose State 193.825 – Feb. 6, 2011
STANFORD, Calif. — The Cardinal defeated San Jose State 196.975-193.825 Sunday at Burnham Pavilion. It was a season-high score for Stanford.
#3 Utah 196.525, Arizona State 194.125 – Feb. 4, 2011
SALT LAKE CITY – Before a pink-clad crowd of 12,836 that included guest of honor Annabeth Eberle, the Ute gymnasts beat Arizona State 196.525-194.125 on Annabeth Eberle Breast Cancer Awareness night.
#11 Arkansas 195.775, #4 Georgia 195.400 – Feb. 4, 2011
FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas’ 11th-ranked gymnastics team recorded a season-high for the second straight week and recorded its first-ever victory over Georgia with a 195.775-195.40 decision over the No. 4 Gym Dogs Friday in Barnhill Arena.
#5 Oklahoma 196.300, Nebraska 195.800 – Feb. 6, 2011
Lincoln, Neb. – The 10th-ranked Nebraska women’s gymnastics team had three gymnasts combine for four individual event titles, but it was not enough to upset No. 5 Oklahoma in a 196.30-195.80 loss at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Sunday afternoon.
#7 Oregon State 196.950, Arizona State 194.800 – Feb. 6, 2011
TEMPE, AZ–The Gym Devils fell to the Oregon State Beavers 196.950 to 194.800. The Gym Devils are now 1-4 this season.
#9 Michigan 196.800, New Hampshire 195.375 – Feb. 5, 2011
DURHAM, N.H. – Chelsea Steinberg (Ridgewood, N.J.) set a personal best by scoring a 9.875 on balance beam, but the ninth-ranked University of Michigan edged the University of New Hampshire, 196.8-195.375, in gymnastics action at Lundholm Gymasium on Saturday afternoon.
#10 Nebraska 196.075, Missouri 195.400 – Feb. 4, 2011
Columbia, Mo.–The Missouri Tigers faced a familiar foe this Friday at the Hearnes Center. After facing Nebraska at last weekend’s Metroplex Challenge, Missouri hosted the Huskers in the first home dual meet of the season.
#12 Kent State 194.925, Bowling Green State 188.975 – Feb. 6, 2011
The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team dropped a 194.925-188.975 decision on Sunday afternoon to Kent State. The dual meet was held inside Anderson Arena.
Illinois 195.750, Central Michigan 194.525, #13 Minnesota 194.325 – Feb. 5, 2011
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Senior Melissa Fernandez won the beam and all-around titles on Saturday at Huff Hall while leading the No. 19 Illini to victory with a season-high 195.750 at their annual Pink Meet.
#14 Washington 195.800, Seattle Pacific 190.100 – Feb. 4, 2011
SEATTLE — The Falcons posted season-high totals on the vault and the floor exercise and got into the 190-point neighborhood for the third week in a row. SPU finished with 190.100 points, second to Washington’s season-high mark of 195.800.
#15 Boise State 196.175, Cal State Fullerton 189.175 – Feb. 4, 2011
BOISE, Idaho – The No. 15-ranked Boise State gymnastics team opened their 2011 home season with a bang on Friday (Feb. 4) night defeating Cal State Fullerton 196.175-189.175 in Taco Bell Arena.
Denver 196.375, #16 Ohio State 195.575 – Feb. 4, 2011
DENVER – The No. 25 University of Denver gymnastics team posted a season-high score in a 196.375-195.575 win over No. 16 Ohio State before 1,298 fans on Friday night at Hamilton Gymnasium.
#17 Iowa State 193.200, #18 North Carolina State 193.175, George Washington 190.300 – Feb. 4, 2011
RALEIGH, N.C. — 18th-ranked NC State gymnastics finished second, defeating EAGL-foe George Washington and falling to 17th-ranked Iowa State, Friday night in Reynolds Coliseum.
#18 North Carolina State 194.850, Iowa 194.375 – Feb. 6, 2011
RALEIGH, N.C. — 18th-ranked NC State gymnastics made up a .625 deficit over the final rotation to score a comeback win over 23rd-ranked Iowa 194.850-194.375 Sunday afternoon in Reynolds Coliseum.
Arizona 195.400, #19 Illinois-Chicago 193.450 – Feb. 4, 2011
TUCSON, Ariz. – The Arizona Women’s Gymnastics team shone in their pink leotards, posting a season high score of 195.400 to top the University of Illinois-Chicago Flames (193.450).
#19 Southern Utah – Feb. 4, 2011
CEDAR CITY, Utah – Feb. 4 – Southern Utah University gymnastics bounced back from its first defeats of the season last weekend and overcame falls on bars during the meet to post a 194.000 to 192.125 victory over the Utah State Aggies on Friday night.
