Upton, a senior from Sayreville, N.J., competed in 10 heats and team event for Iona this week. She helped Iona to six scores of 9.70 or higher, including a pair of 9.80 scores in the six-element acro and synchronized pyramid heats.

Paige Delman – Iona
Delman, a senior base from Longmont, Colo., was a standout in the pyramid event for Iona, helping her team to a pair of 9.80 scores in the inversion and synchronized heats.
Freshman of the Week
Madison Lutte – Iona
Lutte, a base from Breinigsville, Pa., competed in six heats and team event for Iona this week. Her performance was highlighted by four scores of 9.80 or higher, including a 9.90 in the compulsory pyramid.

Paytyn Neal – Gannon
Neal, a junior base and mid from Fairmont, West Virginia, competed in nine heats and team event for the Knights. She helped Gannon to three scores of 9.90 in the compulsory pyramid, compulsory toss and open pyramid.

Jessica Santiago – Saint Leo
Santiago, a senior from Pittsburgh, Pa., was a standout in the pyramid event this week. The base helped Saint Leo to a perfect 10.0 in the open heat and a 9.90 in the inversion heat.
Freshman of the Week
Ady Rothermel – Gannon
Rothermel, a base from Wernersville, Pa., competed in eight heats and team event this weekend, including a score of 9.90 in three heats – compulsory pyramid, compulsory toss, and open pyramid.
Athlete of the Week
Natalie Podsednik – Mary Hardin-Baylor
Podsednik, a senior base from Fort Worth, Texas, competed in 10 heats and team event in two separate meets last week. Her week was highlighted by a score of 9.90 in the compulsory toss and a score of 9.80 in the open pyramid. On the week, she helped the Cru to 13 scores of 9.50 or higher.

Emily Ruka – Concordia-Wisconsin
Ruka, a top from Racine, Wisc., was a standout in the pyramid event this week. The senior helped CUW to a score of 9.90 in the open pyramid heat.

Claire Willis – Mary Hardin-Baylor
Willis, a base and tumbler from Waco, Texas, competed in eight heats and team event during two separate meets this week. Her performance was highlighted by three scores of 9.65 or higher.

Ashlyn Shively – Lander
Shively helped Lander set two program records and four more season-high scores in their meet win over Converse. The junior helped the Bearcats to program-high scores of 9.90 in pyramid heat 2 and 9.75 in toss heat 1. That score of 9.75 also matches the best score in the country this season. Shively also helped Lander to season-high scores of 9.35 in compulsory acro, 9.90 in acro heat 1, 9.65 in acro heat 3 and 9.85 in pyramid heat 3.
Specialist of the Week
Zoey Franklin – Mars Hill
Franklin competed as the top for Mars Hill in the pyramid event, helping the Lions to three scores of 9.75 or better and an event score of 29.55. That event score set a Mars Hill program record as did her score of 9.95 in heat 1. She also scored 9.75 in heat 2 and 9.85 in heat 3.

Taryn Laurence – Fairmont State
Laurence, a senior from Euless, Texas, a top and tumbler for the Falcons competed in 12 heats and team event for Fairmont State this Saturday, recording nine scores of 9.50 or higher. She competed in all three pyramid events as a top and did not score below a 9.65. She helped the Falcons to the highest event acro score with a 9.55 and highest tumbling score with a 9.85. Helping the falcons to a season high of 267.370.

Wilson, a senior from Fairmont, West Virginia, starred in the pyramid event for Fairmont State, helping the Falcons to a 9.85 in inversion pyramid and 9.85 in open pyramid. Helping the falcons to a season high of 267.370.
