Jacie Van De Zilver – Azusa Pacific
Van De Zilver, a fifth-year senior top from Jackson, N.J., competed in 11 heats and team event for Azusa Pacific last week against Gannon. Her performance included nine heats that scored a 9.70 or higher, including meet-high scores of 9.85 in the open pyramid and six-element tumbling passes. She also helped the Cougars to a score of 9.80 in the compulsory pyramid and a 9.70 in the duo tumbling pass.

Sarah Lang – Azusa Pacific
Lang, a junior from Shillington, Pa., was a standout in the tumbling event for Azusa Pacific this week. Her performance included a 9.70 in the duo tumbling pass and a 9.85 in the open tumbling pass.
Freshman of the Week
Katherine Carter – Quinnipiac
Carter, a top and tumbler from Dover, N.H. competed in five heats and team event for Quinnipiac last week. Her performance was highlighted by a 9.70 in the acro five-element and a 9.675 in the open tumbling pass.
Athlete of the Week
Blythe Terrell – Belmont Abbey
A junior base/tumbler from Flower Mound, Texas, Blythe competed in eight heats plus the team event and brought in four scores of 9.5 or higher in the Crusaders 267.645-254.570 win over St. Leo. Blythe scored a 9.8 in compulsory pyramid, a 9.7 in compulsory toss, a 9.55 out of 9.8 in 5 Element Acro, and a 9.9 out of 10 in pyramid heat 3. She also helped the team to a 95.02 in the team event. The Crusaders are now 3-0 on the season and posted the second-highest score in a single meet in program history and it was the fifth time in the last two years that Belmont Abbey has finished with a team score of 260 or higher.
Athlete of the Week
Abbie Baker – Frostburg State
As a top and a tumbler, Baker helped lead the Bobcats to their third-straight win by defeating West Liberty, 255.785-238.465. During the meet, Baker competed in a total of 12 heats as well as team event. She competed in seven heats that scored a 9.4 or higher, including a 9.75 in the compulsory pyramid and a 9.8 in the open tumbling pass. In the pyramid event, Baker was a part of all three heats that scored a 9.7, 9.75, and an almost perfect score of 9.95.
