Women's Gymnasts of the Week – Feb. 9-15, 2026

Gymnast of the Week awards are given by conference offices. More will be added throughout the week as they become available.

Atlantic Coast Conference

Gymnast of the Week
Anna Roberts – Stanford
* Recorded three scores of 9.900, while posting the best all-around score in the ACC last week.
* Vault: 9.800; Bars: 9.900; Beam: 9.900; Floor: 9.900 (Tied for Third Place); All-Around: 39.500 (Second Place)

Specialist of the Week
JoJo Valahovic – North Carolina
* Recorded three first-place finishes on the weekend.
* Posted her second-straight 9.925 on vault for a first-place finish against No. 21 NC State before posting a 9.900 on vault for another first-place finish against No. 17 Auburn, NC State and Boise State in the Metroplex Challenge.
* Won the beam title against NC State with a score of 9.950.

Newcomer of the Week
Tonya Paulsson – California
* Finished third in the All-Around against No. 8 Georgia, No. 10 Stanford and Air Force.
* Vault: 9.850; Bars: 9.875; Beam: 9.850; Floor: 9.900 (Tied for Third Place); All-Around: 39.250 (Tied For Third Place)

Big Ten Conference

Gymnast of the Week
Jordan Chiles – UCLA
* Won the all-around for the fifth consecutive week (39.625)
* Recorded a perfect 10 for the fourth-straight week on floor exercise
* Has scored a 10 on floor 10 times in her career, which ranks second on UCLA’s all-time list for that event
* Came in second on uneven bars with a 9.925
* Garners her 13th career Big Ten Gymnast of the Week recognition

Sophie Parenti – Michigan
* Earned the event title with a career-high 9.950 on uneven bars
* Notched a pair of 9.875s on balance beam and floor exercise
* Claims her first Big Ten Event Specialist of the Week accolade

Sage Kellerman – Michigan State
* Scored a 9.900 on vault to win a share of the title
* Took home the victory on uneven bars with a 9.925, which tied her season high
* Collects the eighth Big Ten Event Specialist of the Week honor of her career

Freshman of the Week
Tiana Sumanasekera – UCLA
* Posted a career-high 39.475 in the all-around to place second
* Tallied a trio of 9.900s on vault, uneven bars and floor exercise
* Won vault for the first time in her career
* Earns her third Big Ten Freshman of the Week laurel

Big 12 Conference

Co-Gymnasts of the Week
Cecilia Cooley – Denver
Cooley set four season-high marks against Arizona, while she tallied or matched her career-best in vault (9.825), beam (9.925) and in the all-around competition (39.500). The New York native captured her fourth consecutive all-around title and her second straight beam title. Her performance helped the Pioneers record their highest home meet score of 196.600 to remain undefeated in Conference play.

Avery Neff – Utah
Neff set three career highs in front of the home audience at the Huntsman Center against rival BYU. Neff, the Red Rocks anchor in the bars lineup, captured the nation’s first perfect 10 in the event this season and marked her second perfect score of the season in any event. She matched her career-high for the third consecutive meet with a 9.95 on beam, while the same score set a career-best for the sophomore on floor. She claimed four event titles in bars, beam, floor and the all-around as Utah posted a 198.025, its first 198+ score this season. Neff has claimed three consecutive all-around titles and ranks fifth nationally as she picks up her fourth league honor this season.

Specialist of the Week
Safia El Mammann – Arizona State
El Mammann earned two event wins in the Big 12 dual against West Virginia. The freshman from North Haven, Connecticut, set or tied her career-bests in the vault with a 9.850 and her first beam title with a 9.825. In her debut season with Arizona State, she has collected three event titles. El Mammann is the second Gym Devil to earn the league’s event specialist weekly award this season.

Newcomer of the Week
Abby Steeley – Denver
Steeley’s balance beam routine scored a 9.925 and earned the freshman her first collegiate event title as she shared the title with teammate Cooley. The duo came in clutch for Denver as both routines prevented the lineup from counting a fall that happened before them. The 9.925 matched the highest score on any apparatus in the Conference matchup against Arizona. Steeley claims her first league honor while she picked up DU’s second weekly honor for newcomers.

East Atlantic Gymnastics League

Co-Gymnasts of the Week
Raphaëlle Perreault – LIU
Perreault won her first all-around title with a career best 39.025. The sophomore also recorded a career high 9.850 on floor to help the Sharks earn a season high 49.250 to start the meet. She also placed second on vault with a career high 9.800 and third on beam with a season high 9.800.

Isabella Minervini – Towson
Minervini recorded a 9.950 bars score on Sunday, which ties for third-highest bars score in Towson history. The senior also earned her sixth and seventh all-around victories in seven Towson meets this season.

Specialist of the Week
Adriana Hoffman – Towson
Hoffman recorded her second victory on vault this season on Sunday with a 9.875, which was a new career high. The senior recorded a 9.800 and 9.850 on floor on Friday and Sunday respectively and has earned at least a 9.800 on floor in each of her last four meets.

Co-Rookies of the Week
Camille Lund Rasmussen – LIU
Rasmussen set a new career high 9.875 on floor to lead the Sharks with the highest score of the season on any event. The sophomore won her first career event title on floor, competing in just her second career routine.

Natalie Lindgren – Towson
Lindgren tied a career-high 9.800 on beam on Sunday and set new career-highs on bars on both Friday and Sunday, having competed in the rotation on bars for just second and third time.

Rookie Specialist of the Week
Jocelyn Lannon – Towson
Lannon earned first-ever victory on Friday and podium finishes on vault for Towson on both Friday and Sunday. Her 9.850 ties the highest score for a Towson athlete on vault this year.

Gymnastics East Conference

Gymnast of the Week
Manama Fofana – Penn
Sophomore Manama Fofana (Atlanta, Ga.) earned her third consecutive GEC Gymnast of the Week honor, continuing her dominant stretch in the Penn lineup. Fofana claimed a share of first place on floor with a 9.875, marking her third straight week with a first-place finish. Her floor score helped Penn post its highest team floor score of the season (49.200) as the Quakers remained undefeated in 2026. She also added strong performances on vault (9.775) and beam (9.825) in another standout three-event showing.

Specialist of the Week
Nova Staruk – Bridgeport
Junior Nova Staruk (West Boylston, Mass.) delivered an outstanding performance at Southern Connecticut, earning her second GEC Specialist of the Week honor this season. Staruk tied her season high on vault with a 9.850 for first place after competing a powerful Kasamatsu layout full, marking Bridgeport’s highest score on any event in the meet. She also impressed on floor exercise, where her dynamic tumbling and new choreography earned a 9.800 and a second-place finish.

Newcomer of the Week
Annie Bilbe – Yale
First-year Annie Bilbe (Covington, La.) earned her second consecutive and third overall GEC Newcomer of the Week honor this season after another strong showing in the anchor position for Yale on both vault and floor. Bilbe posted a 9.750 on vault to tie for fifth place and added a 9.800 on floor, tying for fourth. Her consistency and confidence in the anchor role continue to make her a reliable contributor to the Bulldogs’ lineups.

Mid American Conference

Gymnast of the Week
Luciana Alvarado-Reid – Central Michigan
Luciana Alvarado-Reid won beam (9.900) and floor (9.900) in leading Central Michigan to victory over Kent State. Alvarado-Reid is now at seven career beam titles and 13 career floor titles. In the all-around, she claimed her 23rd career title with a 39.400. Nationally, she is ranked 21st on bars, 24th in the all-around and 28th on floor—the highest-ranked MAC gymnast in all three disciplines.

Specialist of the Week
Ashley Szymanski – Ball State
Junior Ashley Szymanski earned two more individual event victories in Ball State’s league win over Eastern Michigan Sunday, raising her season total to nine (5 on bars and 4 on beam). She started by tying her own mark for the league’s best bars score at 9.950, winning the event by .100. She followed by tying the league’s best beam score at 9.900, also tying with teammate Delaney McMahon for the event win.

Midwest Independent Conference

Gymnast of the Week
Taylor Ingle – Southeast Missouri State
Ingle captured another all-around title with a 38.925 in her 21st-straight all-around competition. The Coppell, Texas-native captured the vault title with a 9.850 edging out ISU’s Sammie Wolff with a 9.750 for her first vault title of the season. Ingle scored a 9.575 on bars (7th), 9.775 on beam (4th), and a 9.725 on the floor (9.725) to round out her evening.

Performance of the Week
Kyleigh Ghanbari – Texas Woman’s
In the Pioneers’ meet at Centenary, Ghanbari competed in three events. She won the floor exercise with a 9.90. On bars, she scored a 9.775, and she tied for fifth on beam with a 9.750, a career high.

Newcomer of the Week
Regan Sams – Southeast Missouri State
Sams scored a 9.825 on the floor at Illinois State to capture her first-floor title of the season. Sams edged out ISU’s Jaly Jones (9.800) with her highest score of the season thus far, and her second-straight week with a 9.800 or higher on the floor.

Jordan Loock – Texas Woman’s
Loock competed in two events at Centenary, earning the Co-MIC Coaches’ Choice Award, which is voted on weekly by the league’s head coaches. She tied for third on bars with a career-high 9.750 and placed fourth on beam with a career-best 9.775. Loock has competed in the vault lineup in every meet this season and also scored a career-high 9.775 on the event last weekend.

Gymnast of the Week
Amelia Moneymaker – UC Davis
For the 20th time in her career, extending her school record, Moneymaker broke the 39.000 threshold in the all-around, winning the title at Sacramento State with a season-high mark of 39.300. Along the way she posted her second 9.900 on beam, marking the sixth time in her career she has hit that mark winning that event and helping UC Davis win the beam overall. Moneymaker also brought home vault and bars, scoring 9.775 on each to win those events. On floor, she posted a 9.850 to finish second just behind the winning mark of 9.875.

Specialist of the Week
Mia Hampton – Southern Utah
At the USU Quad, Hampton responded to an early setback by resetting and delivering in critical moments. She opened the beam rotation with a steady 9.625 to reestablish momentum before energizing the floor lineup with a dynamic 9.850, tying for third on the event and helping Southern Utah secure key conference wins. She elevated her performance even further in the road win at No. 26 Oregon State. Hampton scored a 9.850 on bars before matching a career-best 9.900 on balance beam to tie for second. She closed the meet with another 9.900 on floor, tying for third as the Flippin’ Birds posted a season-high 49.450 on the event.

Freshman of the Week
Ariel Collum – Southern Utah
Collum delivered a breakout weekend for the Flippin’ Birds, highlighted by a career-best performance at the USU Quad. With Southern Utah facing early adversity in the lineup, the freshman stepped up in a pressure-packed moment and delivered a meet-winning 9.900 on uneven bars. Her routine featured crisp handstands, clean lines, and a composed dismount, helping power the team to a second-place finish and its first MPSF head-to-head victories of the season. She followed that performance with another strong showing on the road at No. 26 Oregon State, scoring a 9.875 on bars while competing in the heart of the lineup. Collum’s routine tied for second overall and helped the Flippin’ Birds post a season-high 49.225 on the event in a key road victory.

Mountain West Conference

All-Arounder of the Week
Maggie Slife – Air Force
* Scored a Mountain West record and league-best 39.650 in the all-around to win the title in a quad meet against Georgia, Stanford and Cal.
* Scored a league-best-tying 9.925 on vault, the highest mark by any gymnast on the event this season, to share the event title with teammate Alyssa Bigler.
* Scored a league-best 9.925 on bars to finish tied for third at the meet.
* Scored a league-best-tying 9.900 on beam, finishing just off the podium in fourth place.
* Scored a league-best 9.900 on floor to finish third on the event.
* Slife has tallied 23 weekly awards this season.

Co-Freshmen of the Week
Miraya Nero – Boise State
* Scored a league-best-tying 9.900 on beam to share fourth place with teammate Kristina Shchennikova in a quad meet against Auburn, North Carolina and North Carolina State.
* Also competed in the all-around during the meet, finishing with a 38.150, including a 9.850 on vault, 8.950 on bars and 9.425 on floor.
* The 9.900 matched the highest score by a freshman on any event this week.

Victoria Kisch – San Jose State
* Scored a 9.900 on bars to capture a share of the individual title in a head-to-head conference clash with Utah State.
* The 9.900 matched the highest mark by a freshman on any event in the Mountain West this week.

National Collegiate Gymnastics Association - East

All-Around Gymnast of the Week
Erin Roe – Ursinus
Roe continued her dominant All-Around season by earning a 38.55, highlighted with a 9.80 on Vault (UB 9.575, BB 9.6, FX 9.575). Only .125 off the Ursinus AA Record at the West Chester Tri-Meet with Towson this past Friday. Her efforts helped the Bears defeat Division II West Chester and secure the team’s third highest score in program history at 191.950. Her all-around score was the second highest by any Division III gymnast this season to date.

Specialist of the Week
Tessa Sutton – Cortland
Sutton tied for first on floor exercise in a field of 36 competitors at the Empire State Collegiate Championship, hosted by Cortland, with a career-best score of 9.875 that is tied for fourth best in school history. Her performance helped Cortland break the floor exercise school record with a 49.075. Sutton also placed in the top half of the field in two other events with a tie for 11th place on balance beam (9.725) and a tie for 12th on vault (season-high 9.625). Earlier in the week, Sutton finished second on a beam with a season-high 9.775 and tied for fifth on floor with a 9.775 in Cortland’s 192.80-191.35 dual win at Ithaca. She helped Cortland break the team scoring record by more than seven tenths of a point.

Southeastern Conference

Gymnast of the Week
Kailin Chio – LSU
LSU’s Kailin Chio, a sophomore from Henderson, Nev., won the all-around in the win over No. 17 Auburn with a final score of 39.875. Chio tied the second highest all-around score by an LSU gymnast in program history, joining Haleigh Bryant (2023) and April Burkholder (2003) as the only Tigers to reach that mark. She began the meet with her fifth consecutive stuck vault, collecting a 9.975 and the event title. Chio then took second place on bars with a 9.925, followed by first place on beam with a 9.975. She concluded the night with a 10.0 on floor, her third career perfect mark and her first on floor.

Lily Smith – Georgia
Georgia’s Lily Smith, a junior from Limerick, Pa., captured three podium finishes as she helped the GymDogs take first place at the Metroplex Challenge vs. No. 10 Stanford, No. 20 California and Air Force. Smith earned the bars title with a 9.950, matching her season high and leading her team to a season-best 49.475 on the apparatus. She also tied for second place on beam with a 9.925. On floor, Smith served as the team anchor and recorded a 9.975 to win the event title.

Freshman of the Week
Azaraya Ra-Akbar – Alabama
Alabama’s Azaraya Ra-Akbar, a freshman from Baltimore, Md., earned three podium finishes as she helped her team post a season-high team total of 197.950 in the win over No. 8 Arkansas. Ra-Akbar recorded a career-high score of 9.975 on vault to claim the event title. She then garnered a share of the bars title with a score of 9.95 and tied for third on floor with a 9.90.

Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (NCGA West)

Multi-Event
Kaelyn Tally – Simpson
At the Southeast Missouri State Quadrangular on Feb. 6, Tally tied for second place on vault with a 9.725 and led Simpson on the floor exercise with a 9.775. Her performances helped propel the Storm to a program-best team score of 190.625 and a school record floor exercise total (48.625).

Specialist
Evalyn Resnick – Simpson
Resnick delivered a historic performance at the Southeast Missouri State Quadrangular on Feb. 6, breaking Simpson’s uneven bars record with a 9.800 and helping the Storm post an all-time high team score of 190.625. Her routine capped a program-record 47.300 on uneven bars and tied for second place overall.
