Specialist of the Week
Aaronson Mansberger – Michigan
Mansberger scored his second straight score above 14.000 on pommel horse (14.600) to earn his third straight event title.
Rookie of the Week
Nathan Roman – Oklahoma
Roman claimed the parallel bars title for the second consecutive meet, posting a 13.850 in the anchor position. He also recorded a 13.900 on vault and a 12.300 on floor exercise. Roman ranks second nationally on parallel bars with a 14.175 season average. The honor marks Roman’s first CGA Rookie of the Week award and OU’s first national award of the season.

Charlie Larson – Michigan
* Won the vault title (14.300 tied career high) and finished third on the floor (13.9000) against No. 1 Oklahoma
* Both scores rank among the 10 best in the country this season
* Garners his first career Gymnast of the Week award
Event Specialist of the Week
Matt Underhill – Penn State
* Scored a 14.700 on the still rings to win the event at the Sam Mikulak Invitational
* Posted the highest score on the rings this season
* Earns his second career Event Specialist of the Week award
Freshman of the Week
Shaun Smith – Penn State
* Posted a score of 14.150 to finish second on the vault at the Sam Mikulak Invitational
* Added a 10th place finish on the floor with a score of 13.000
* Earns his second consecutive Freshman of the Week honor
Gymnast of the Week
Luke Tully – William & Mary
Tully highlighted W&M’s individual performances with a trio of top-three finishes, as he tied for first on floor (13.55), tied for second on vault (13.9) and placed third on high bar (13.15.)
Routine of the Week
Blaise Rousseau – Springfield
Rousseau continues to excel on the rings this season. He hit his ring routine scoring a 13.70 and finished six and a half tenths higher than the next gymnast at the Navy Open.
Rookie of the Week
Kody Tokunaga – Navy
Tokunaga continues to be a pivotal member of the Mids’ pommel horse lineup as he posted a score of 13.2 on Saturday to help Navy place first at the 2026 Navy Open. His individual effort tied for second overall in the field for the pommel horse.
Gymnast of the Week
Asher Hong – Stanford
Stanford senior Asher Hong (Tomball, TX) made his return to competition by winning the all-around and still rings titles, while also finishing first among collegiate competitors on parallel bars as the Cardinal totaled a 2026 NCAA season-high 326.450 against No. 6 Ohio State and No. 7 California (Jan. 24). Hong’s all-around (80.300), still rings (14.400) and vault (14.400) scores made him the top-ranked gymnast in those events nationally, while his all-around was the NCAA’s best this year. This is the
11th career MPSF weekly award for Hong.
Specialist of the Week
Nick Kuebler – Stanford
Stanford redshirt-senior Nick Kuebler (Seattle, WA) turned in an NCAA-leading 14.600 routine on high bar to win a share of the event title, while also leading the field on floor with a 13.950 to help the Cardinal to a 2026 NCAA-high 326.450 against No. 6 Ohio State and No. 7 California (Jan. 24). He also finished second on still rings with a 14.000. This is the third career MPSF weekly award for Kuebler, each in the last three weeks.
Freshman of the Week
Nathan Underhill – California
California freshman Nathan Underhill (Oconomowoc, WI) competed in his first collegiate all-around (75.750) and made his collegiate debuts on floor, pommel horse, parallel bars and high bar in a tri-meet at No. 2 Stanford, with No. 6 Ohio State (Jan. 24). He posted personal-bests on both rings (13.250) and vault (14.100), and helped Cal to an NCAA season-best 56.650 on vault. This is the first career MPSF award for Underhill.
