Gymnast of the Week awards are given by conference offices. More will be added throughout the week as they become available.

Atlantic Coast Conference

Gymnast of the Week
Anna Roberts – Stanford
Helped lead the Cardinal to a win over No. 11 North Carolina with three first-place finishes, including a 9.975 on floor to tie for the lead score in the nation.

Specialist of the Week
Sydney Seabrooks – North Carolina
Scored a 9.950 on floor for the second consecutive meet for a second-place finish.
Her 9.950 is tied for first place in the nation on floor.

Newcomer of the Week
Ana Barbosu, Stanford, Fr. (Odobe?ti, România)
Helped push Stanford to a win over No. 11 North Carolina while setting career-highs on bars, beam, floor and the all-around competition in just her second collegiate appearance.

Jordan Chiles – UCLA
* Won three events and the all-around in the Bruins’ dual meet victory over Nebraska
* Earned her first career perfect 10 on vault
* Had a 9.975 on balance beam and 9.900 on uneven bars, both of which tied for first place
* Finished with an all-around score of 39.675
* Garners her ninth career Big Ten Gymnast of the Week recognition

Ciena Alipio – UCLA
* Tied for first on balance beam with a season-best 9.975
* Scored a career-high 9.875 on floor exercise to capture her first win in the event
* Collects the second Big Ten Event Specialist of the Week honor of her career

Freshman of the Week
Ashlee Sullivan – UCLA
* Recorded career marks on all three events she competed on against the Huskers
* Shared the titles on uneven bars (9.900) and floor exercise (9.875)
* Placed second on vault behind a 9.900
* Earns her first Big Ten Freshman of the Week laurel

Big 12 Conference

Gymnast of the Week
Kylie Eaquinto – BYU
Eaquinto earned three podium finishes as the Cougars hosted Boise State, outlasting Boise State 196.300-195.025. She had first-place finishes on bars and beam, including a career best on the uneven bars, and placed third on vault with a 9.800. This is her first honor of the season and her second career accolade after being recognized once last season (March 4).

Specialist of the Week
Brynlee Andersen-Broekman – BYU
Andersen-Broekman hit her third beam routine of the season against the Broncos, recording a season-high score of 9.925 and the meet’s highest score in any apparatus. The junior also registered a 9.900 on floor to tie for first place with teammates Eaquinto and Deb Silva. The 2025 Big 12 Event Specialist of the Year collected her fifth career weekly honor.

Newcomer of the Week
Abbi Ryssman – Utah
Ryssman helped the Red Rocks secure a first-place finish against other gymnastics programs from the state of Utah during the Les Olson IT Best of Utah meet. The freshman from Rochester, Minnesota, scored a career-best 9.925 on bars, while the team hit a team-high 49.625 with five gymnasts atop the event leaderboard. She then tallied a personal-best 9.900 on the balance beam to secure her first collegiate event title.

East Atlantic Gymnastics League

Gymnast of the Week
Serena Mullin – New Hampshire
Mullin posted two Top five results, highlighted by a second-place tie on bars (9.800). The senior earned a share of fifth place as the floor lineup anchor with a 9.850. The Hamden, Conn. native hit 4 events and totaled a team-leading 39.025 to place fourth in the all-around in a quad meet against high-level competition.

Specialist of the Week
Amelia Budd – Temple
Budd competed in both vault and floor in the meet and finished tied for first on both events. Her 9.825 on vault was a season-high result for Budd and her 9.800 finish on floor marked a career-high performance for the junior on the event.

Rookie Specialist of the Week
Eden Stippick – LIU
Stippick matched her career high score from week one on vault (9.775), leading the team for the second week in a row and finishing in third place. The freshman also reached a career high on floor (9.700) and recorded the second highest score in that rotation for the Sharks.

Gymnastics East Conference

Gymnast of the Week
Lindsey Yang – Yale
Lindsey Yang (Hillsborough, Ca.) had a huge day for the Bears, setting new career highs while winning both beam (9.925) and floor (9.875) in Brown’s 194.300–194.275 road win at Yale on Sunday. Her 9.925 on beam tied a 25-year-old program record, marking just the second time in program history a Brown gymnast has reached that score and the first since 2001. Yang also competed vault, scoring a 9.525, as her performances were instrumental in Brown edging out the Bulldogs.

Specialist of the Week
Abby Royer – SCSU
Abby Royer (Boyertown, Pa.) competed for the first time this season and closed the Owls Quad Meet with a standout floor routine, posting a school-record 9.950. The senior specialist’s score was a personal best and is tied for the highest floor score this season across all NCAA divisions.

Co-Newcomers of the Week
Ananya Patanakul – Penn
Ananya Patanakul (Erie, Pa.) delivered a key performance in just her second collegiate event as a Quaker, placing second overall on vault with a 9.775, just 0.025 behind first place. Penn finished first on the vault and first overall at the meet, with Patanakul’s performance playing a major role in the team result.

Annie Bible – Yale
Annie Bilbe (Covington, La.) continued to make an immediate impact for Yale, scoring a 9.625 on vault from the No. 2 position with her tucked Tsukahara full and adding a 9.825 on floor, which placed third overall in the meet. Bilbe entered the floor lineup for the first time this season and delivered a strong performance in both events.

Mid American Conference

Gymnast of the Week
Ashley Morgan – Kent State
Junior Ashley Morgan was pivotal for the Golden Flashes win versus West Virginia and Fisk with her scores that counted towards the final scores. Morgan’s scores of 9.800 were good for 2nd-highest on beam and 3rd-highest on floor en route to the tri-meet win at the MAC Center.

Co-Specialists of the Week
Ashley Szymanski – Ball State
Junior Ashley Szymanski earned a pair of event wins in Ball State’s dual victory over Bowling Green, taking top honors on both beam (9.875) and bars (9.775). Szymanski’s beam routine not only tied a career high, but was also the highest scoring beam routine in the MAC last week. It is also the second-highest beam score in the league this season, trailing only Zoe Middleton’s mark of 9.900 in BSU’s season-opener. In addition, her bars score was the sixth best in the MAC last week and gave Szymanski her 14th career event win on bars.

Alanah Wallace – Northern Illinois
Alanah Wallace had a standout performance in only her second college meet, earning a 9.800 score on both vault and floor. Wallace tied for first on floor in the Golden Girls Classic against Eastern Michigan and SUNY Brockport and placed second on vault. One of seven gymnasts in MAC this weekend to score at least a 9.800 on two separate events and only freshman to do so.

Midwest Independent Conference

Gymnast of the Week
Taylor Ingle – Southeast Missouri State
Taylor Ingle captured her first all-around title of the season on Friday night, turning in a 39.075 in her 18th-straight all-around competition. She tied for first on vault (9.800), took fourth on bars (9.700), placed fifth on beam (9.775), and captured an outright floor title with a 9.800.

Performance of the Week
Anna Ichiba – Centenary
Ichiba earned one of the four individual honors that the conference chooses on a weekly basis and received it for the first time in her career. The Centenary gymnastics team wrapped up a busy weekend in the Midwest on Sunday with a second-place finish against Illinois State University in Normal, Ill. Ichiba highlighted the meet for the Ladies as she won on beam with a season and career-high 9.80

Newcomer of the Week
Reagan Sams – Southeast Missouri State
Reagan Sams captured her second-straight beam title this past weekend in Chicago after capturing first on opening weekend in Cape Girardeau. Sams scored a 9.825 to finish in first place with teammates Jaidan Kossuth and Leah Parton (9.825). Her score marked a new season-high after she recorded a 9.800 and an event title at the SEMO Tri-Meet in the season opener (1/9).

Coaches’ Choice Award
Sofia Steffan – Texas Woman’s
After rehabbing and working her way back from an injury suffered during her sophomore year, Steffan has entered TWU’s beam lineup this season, competing for the first time on beam since she was a senior in high school. This past week, against Denver and Arizona, Steffan displayed a strong routine and scored a career high 9.700. Steffan’s joy when she hit the routine was radiant throughout Kitty Magee Arena.

Gymnast of the Week
Niya Randolph – Southern Utah
Southern Utah junior Niya Randolph (Las Vegas, NV) delivered a meet-winning performance at Utah State (Jan. 17), capturing first-place in the all-around with a 39.275. Randolph opened on the uneven bars with a 9.825, tying for second. She then moved to vault, where she earned a 9.825 to place second. Randolph followed with a 9.750 on floor before closing the meet on the balance beam, taking first-place with a 9.875 to seal her all-around victory. She accumulated a 39.125 all-around in the Best of Utah meet earlier in the week. This is the 12th career MPSF weekly award for Randolph.

Specialist of the Week
Alex Routsis – Southern Utah
Southern Utah junior Alex Routsis (Falcon, CO) tied her career-high on the uneven bars with a crucial 9.875 against a tough Best of Utah field—No. 15 Utah, No. 23 BYU, and Utah State, helping the T-birds match their MPSF season-high total 195.675 (Jan. 12). She then contributed a 9.825 bars routine in another tough road meet at Utah State (Jan. 17). This is the second career MPSF weekly award for Routsis.

Freshman of the Week
Berlin Hall – Southern Utah
Southern Utah freshman Berlin Hall (Gilbert, AZ) made a strong impression at the Best of Utah meet (Jan. 12) against No. 15 Utah, No. 23 BYU, and Utah State, highlighted by a standout floor routine of 9.875 which earned third- place. She also contributed on vault with a new personal best 9.725, This is the second-straight MPSF weekly award for Hall to begin her collegiate career.

Mountain West Conference

All-Arounder of the Week
Maggie Slife – Air Force
In Hew Hampshire, Slife earned at least a share of first place in three of four events on Sunday, closing competition with a 39.425 all-around score, besting the field by .125 while tying the third-best all-around finish in Air Force history. After two weeks of competition, Slife ranks seventh in the nation as an all-around gymnast.

Co-Freshmen of the Week
Sophie Patterson – San Jose State
* Patterson scored a 9.825 on vault to tie Miraya Nero of Boise State and Anabelle Dewey of Utah State for the top freshman score of the week.
* Patterson tied for second on vault with teammate Mikaela Pitts.
* She finished the all-around with a 38.725, including a 9.775 on beam, 9.575 on floor and 9.550 on bars.

Anabelle Dewey – Utah State
* Earned her first conference honor as she won her first career title with 9.825 on floor.
* Tied for fourth on vault with a career-high 9.775, helping USU score a season-best 48.950.
* Ranks fourth in the MW and 14th in the North Central Region with an average floor score of 9.825.
* Ranks 36th in the North Central Region with an average vault score of 9.762.

Miraya Nero – Boise State
Nero tied for the highest event score among MW freshmen, posting a 9.825 on beam as part of her all-around victory at BYU. With the win, she became the first Boise State freshman to capture an all-around crown since Courtney McGregor, who did so against Utah State on Feb. 17, 2017. In addition to her 9.825 on beam, which tied her for second on the apparatus, Nero tallied a season-high 9.775 on vault and bars. She notched a 9.700 on floor to finish with an all-around score of 39.075, winning the title by 0.025 over BYU junior Ava Jorgensen. This marked the first event title of her career and the first by a Boise State gymnast this season.

National Collegiate Gymnastics Association - East

All-Around Gymnast of the Week
Erin Roe – Ursinus
Roe won the all-around for the Bears on Sunday at Ithaca College with a score of 38.50, just shy of her career-best 38.575. She began the meet on the uneven bars, winning the event with a 9.675, then earned a 9.725 to take first place on the vault. Roe matched her season high on the floor exercise with a 9.675 before closing the meet on the balance beam with a 9.425.

Specialist of the Week
Kiara Hockman – Brockport
Last week, Hockman earned the honor with her scores of 9.800 on the beam, 9.800 on the floor, and a 9.775 on the beam. This past weekend while competing against Division I programs Eastern Michigan and Northern Illinois; she upped the ante. Out in Michigan at the Golden Girls Classic, she either matched or scored season-bests in all three of those events. She scored a 9.800 on the floor to tie her season-high so far. She then went on to hit a 9.825 on the vault and a 9.875 on the balance beam, her best marks of the year.

Southeastern Conference

Gymnast of the Week
Azaraya Ra-Akbar – Alabama
Alabama’s Azaraya Ra-Akbar, a freshman from Baltimore, Md., recorded the top all-around score of the week in the SEC and tied the second-best mark in the nation this season with a 39.600 at No. Florida this past weekend. In addition to finishing first in the all-around, Azaraya Ra-Akbar claimed a share of the titles for vault (9.925) and floor (9.90) and was runner-up on the bars (9.95). As the anchor on Alabama’s opening two rotations, she became the only SEC gymnast to post back-to-back scores of at least 9.925 in anchor positions.

Co-Specialists of the Week
Lauren Williams – Arkansas
Arkansas’ Lauren Williams, a redshirt junior from Rogers, Ark., registered a 9.975 in the Razorbacks’ opening rotation on vault in the win over No. 6 Auburn. Williams captured the vault title by matching the individual program record set by four other Gymbacks and currently leads the nation with her average of 9.938. She also made her first appearance of the season on floor and recorded a 9.850, good for a share of fourth place.

Selena Harris-Miranda – Florida
Florida’s Selena Harris-Miranda, a senior from Las Vegas, Nev., won two event titles in her three events in the win over No. 4 Alabama on Friday. Harris-Miranda earned the beam title outright with a 9.95 and a share of the vault title with a 9.925. She also recorded a 9.90 on bars to be the only non-all-arounder in the SEC to post three marks of 9.90 or better for the week.

Freshman of the Week
Ella Murphy – Oklahoma
Oklahoma’s Ella Murphy, a freshman from Frisco, Texas, won her first collegiate event title with a 9.85 on bars in the win at No. 7 Missouri. Murphy also came in second on beam with her second consecutive 9.925, which currently has her ranked eighth in the nation in the event. She made her floor debut with a 9.875 in the No. 2 spot, helping the Sooners to a 49.275 on the event. All three of Murphy’s scores counted to help the Sooners to victory over the Tigers.

Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (NCGA West)

Multi-Event
Claire Robbins – UW-La Crosse
Robbins helped lead the Eagles to a meet win over Greenville University (Ill.) with three individual event titles. First, Robbins scored a 9.675 on the uneven parallel bars to tie her teammate for the top score. Then on the balance beam, Robbins recorded a 9.725 to win the event. Finally, Robbins would make it three-for-three as she won the floor exercise with a 9.775.

Specialist
Cobi Powell – UW-La Crosse
In just her second collegiate meet and first at home, Powell recorded a 9.800 to win the vault against Greenville University (Ill.) on Jan. 16. Powell’s score of 9.800 ties for fifth all-time on the vault at UW-La Crosse. Her first-place finish helped the Eagles defeat Greenville 192.425-188.650.
