Gymnast of the Week
Matt Underhill – Penn State
* Scored three event wins in Penn State’s season-opening win over Army
* Claimed wins in the floor exercise (13.350), still rings (13.750), and vault (14.300)
* Rings and vault scores were the second best in the country through opening weekend
* Garners his first career Gymnast of the Week award

Event Specialist of the Week
Aaronson Mansberger – Michigan
* Won the pommel horse in a tri-meet with Greenville and Simpson with a score of 13.350
* Earns his first career Event Specialist of the Week award

Freshman of the Week
Eli Osuna – Michigan
* Claimed three podium finishes in his collegiate debut
* Won the high bar (13.200), finished second in the all-around (73.950) and third on the vault (13.950)
* Earns his first Freshman of the Week honor

Eastern College Athletic Conference

Gymnast of the Week
Brian Solomon – Navy
Solomon turned in a career-best all-around result of 79.05, topping his previous high of 77.8 on Saturday as Navy defeated Springfield. He was strong throughout the competition with a first-place score on the parallel bars and runner-up results on the floor, rings and high bar, with a third-place effort on the vault and a sixth on the pommel horse. Solomon’s high bar score was also a career-high.

Co-Routines of the Week
Jaxon Clapper – Greenville
Jaxon Clapper had the second highest parallel bar score in the country and highest score in the conference with a 13.6, nailing his routine to take the event title against Michigan and Simpson.

Devin Felsenstein – Springfield
Felsenstein nailed his pommel horse routine this weekend scoring a 14.1. This score was the highest score of any ECAC gymnast and ranks him second nationally by a tenth.

Rookie of the Week
Skyler Cook – Springfield
In his first ever collegiate meet, Skyler Cook competed on parallel bars and high bar for the Pride. He placed tied for second on parallel bars with a 12.1 and seventh on high bar with a 12.4.

Gymnast of the Week
Nick Kuebler – Stanford
Stanford redshirt-senior Nick Kuebler (Seattle, WA) highlighted the Cardinal with a pair of event titles in his first competition since the 2024 campaign, leading the team to a season-opening win at California (Jan. 9). Kuebler won the floor exercise (14.000) and still rings (13.900) with a pair of NCAA opening week highs, while also adding a fifth-place finish on high bar (13.250). He contributed to Stanford’s NCAA-leading 52.450 on rings and 54.800 on floor, in addition to the overall score of 320.100. This is the first career MPSF weekly award for Kuebler.

Kiran Mandava – Stanford
Stanford sophomore Kiran Mandava (Cypress, TX) turned in a career-high 14.200 routine on pommel horse to win the event title, helping the Cardinal to a season-opening dual win at California (Jan. 9). Mandava also finished fourth on parallel bars with a 12.900 routine. He helped Stanford to NCAA opening week highs in both events (parallel bars-52.700, pommel horse-54.400), in addition to the overall 320.100. This is the first career MPSF weekly award for Mandava.

Freshman of the Week
Jun Iwai – Stanford
Stanford freshman Jun Iwai (Dallas, TX) finished fourth in both of his events, recording a 13.600 on floor and a 14.000 on vault in his collegiate debut, helping the Cardinal win a season-opening dual at California (Jan. 9). He contributed towards Stanford’s NCAA-leading 54.800 on floor and 320.100 overall team score. This is the first career MPSF award for Iwai.

Santino “Tino” Fort – North Carolina Airmen
Tino, a freshman at North Carolina A&T, kicked off his GymACT career this weekend with the NC Airmen. Going head to head with Temple, Tino won Rings, High Bar, and All Around.
