STUTTGART, Germany, March 18, 2018 – Reigning U.S. all-around silver medalist Jordan Chiles of Vancouver, Wash./Naydenov Gymnastics, captured the all-around bronze medal today at the Stuttgart (Germany) World Cup. The event is the second stop in the International Gymnastics Federation’s all-around World Cup series.

Today’s women’s competition will be shown at 1 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.

Chiles opened the competition with the highest score on the vault, a 14.666. She earned scores of 12.900 on the uneven bars and 11.733 on the balance beam. On the floor exercise, she once again posted the top event score: 13.633. Her all-around score was 52.932. China’s Zhang Jin was the all-around champion, scoring 53.431. Germany’s Elisabeth Seitz took silver at 53.332.

Yesterday, 2016 U.S. Olympic alternate Akash Modi of Morganville, N.J./Stanford University, won the all-around silver medal behind Russia’s David Belyavskiy.
