INDIANAPOLIS, September 13, 2021 – This year’s National Gymnastics Day will take place this Saturday, September 18. The annual day of engagement brings gymnastics enthusiasts, including athletes, coaches, parents, and fans, together to celebrate the sport of gymnastics while building awareness around its many benefits.

In addition to in-person gatherings, including open houses, fitness sessions and introductory classes, hosted by local clubs, USA Gymnastics encourages the gymnastics community to join the digital celebration by posting on social media using the hashtag #NGD2021. Individuals who post throwback or then-and-now photos spotlighting where they started in the sport – and tag USA Gymnastics (@usagym) with the hashtag #NGD2021 – could win signed memorabilia, official gear and more.

National Team athletes from all disciplines are also getting in on the festivities. Throughout the day, several current and former members of Team USA will answer questions in real time on USA Gymnastics’ Instagram account (usagym) via IG Live. The full lineup is listed below, and fans can submit questions in the comments during each session.
