Late last week, the athletic department at Temple University announced that men’s gymnastics would be cut from the competitive program following the 2013-14 competitive season. To help support the Temple University men’s gymnastics team, sign the Save Temple Men’s Gymnastics petition.

The Temple men’s gymnastics team won the 2013 ECAC conference title and has a long tradition of excellence, including producing three U.S. Olympic team members: Chet Phillips (1936), Bob Stout (1952) and Dominick Minicucci (1992). The program, which is in its 88th season, has had the highest team grade point average of any Temple University sports team the past three years.

Maguire was an ECAC champion in 2000-02 and a member of the team that won the conference title in 2002-03. He was co-awarded the Bob Stout Award in 2003, along with Alex Weber).
