DOHA, Qatar, March 23, 2019 – Jade Carey of Phoenix, Ariz./Arizona Sunrays, nabbed her second gold medal at the individual event World Cup in Doha, Qatar, when she won the floor exercise final. For the second weekend in a row, Carey has won both the vault and floor titles at a World Cup. U.S. fans can watch today’s finals later today on the Olympic Channel, which also has a simulcast, at 6 p.m. ET.

In the women’s floor final, Carey earned a 14.466 to easily secure the title. Italy’s Lara Mori edged out teammate Vanessa Ferrari for the silver medal, at 13.433 to 13.300.

The other champions from today were: men’s vault, Yang Hakseon of Korea, 15.626; men’s parallel bars, Zou Jingyuan of China, 15.700; men’s horizontal bar, Croatia’s Tin Srbic, 14.400; and women’s balance beam, China’s Li Qi, 14.333.

Carey also won the gold medals for vault and floor at the recent World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan.
