MELBOURNE, Australia, Feb. 23, 2020 – Jade Carey of Phoenix, Ariz./Arizona Sunrays won gold on floor exercise at the International Gymnastics Federation’s World Cup in Melbourne, Australia. She earned first place in vault during the first round of event finals. The event is part of the International Gymnastics Federation’s individual apparatus World Cup Series and the Olympic qualification process. Carey currently leads the standings in both vault and floor exercise.

Carey earned the top spot in vault with a score of 14.366. Italy’s Vanessa Ferrari and Lara Mori won silver and bronze, respectively, scoring 13.700 and 12.900.
