INDIANAPOLIS, April 9, 2018 – Brigita Budginas of Agoura Hills, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics, earned four top 10 finishes this weekend at the MTM Tournament in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

In the senior all-around competition, Budginas tallied a 55.800 to take ninth place. She went on to place seventh in three event finals: hoop, 14.850; clubs, 12.750; and ribbon, 14.250. The USA’s Alexandria Kautzman of Westlake Village, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics, junior, who placed fourth in the ball final (13.550), recorded a sixth-place finish with clubs (13.400), and took eighth for ribbon (9.800), hoop (11.500), and the all-around competition (49.650).

The U.S. also had athletes participating in the Irina Cup Tournament in Warsaw, Poland. Heather Chan of South Pasadena, Calif./Emerald City Academy of Rhythmic Gymnastics, earned a 17th place finish in the senior all-around with a 52.150 total. USA’s Lily Avila of Highland Park, Ill./Vitrychenko Academy; Isabelle Richardson of Las Vegas, Nev./Eurogymnastics; Sutjiati Narendra of Irvine, Calif./Eurogymnastics; and Erica Foster of Hopkins, Minn./North West Rhythmic, also competed in the event.
