CHENGDU, China (August 10, 2025) – In a dramatic performance on his final pass, Kaden Brown (Herriman, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling) clinched gold in the men’s tumbling final in The World Games competition, successfully defending his TWG 2022 title in Chengdu.

Brown claimed gold in Sunday’s final with a 32.000 to retain his status as The World Games men’s tumbling champion. Tofig Aliyev of Azerbaijan was second with a 30.500 and Fred Teague of Great Britain third with a 28.500.

Also collecting a medal in China was Gracie Harder (Archdale, N.C./Carolina Elite Trampoline Academy), who won the silver medal in women’s double mini trampoline behind Diana Gogo of Portugal in first (26.200). Harder advanced to the gold medal final with a semi-final score of 26.800 but did not receive a score in the final after not completing her pass, but her silver-medal position was secure.

The women’s synchronized trampoline pair of Maia Amano (Honolulu, Hawaii/Merino Trampoline Gymnastics Academy) and Leah Garafalo (Holmdel, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy) also were in action Sunday, finishing fifth in qualifications with a 48.090. The duo was named first reserve to the final that was later won by host-country China (51.340).

The World Games continue Tuesday, August 12 with Audrey Johnson (Greenville, S.C.) and Shea Rudolph (Boston, Mass.) set to take on parkour starting at 1 a.m. ET. Information on the Games can be found on the competition website and FIG event page.
